It's not the horses fault. Don't attribute your mishap to the horse. We teach the horse and the horse learns from us. You fell off because you weren't balanced plain and simple. You should've have sat back more before the fence. A very preventable mistake BY THE RIDER!
@JumpingPerfection121 When did they ever blame the horse for it? And you do realize this video was uploaded two years ago? I'm sure they've improved since then.
@1nikomi Well he should have sat back because the horse refused the same thing like 5 times and knowing the horse would probably refuse it again he should have sat back & tapped the horse with a crop to encourage him on. I know very well how hunter courses are ridden and no you don't stay in 2-point you stay in a half seat, but it doesn't mean you absolutely half to. He should have made it a training moment & not care a/b anything and been commited to getting the horse over the fence.

Half seat is a like seat, like you'd take in the canter. 2 point is the position you take over fences. 2 point requires a release in the hands and your seat completely out of the saddle. Half seat is almost standing up slightly in your stirrups and riding the flow of the canter.

it sucks when horses spook at the jumps because their decorative or colorful or something, my sister had a pony and she fell off a ton of times since he spooked. It was awful..
I don't want to be mean because this has happened to me and It sucks if it keeps happening....The reason you fell off both times is because you jumped before she jumped, and flew over. If you sat back and waited for her to jump, you'd have stayed on. Sorry if that sounded rude, or like a know-it-all. I've just had this happen to me like, five times.

You were staring straight at the jump and it looked like you prepared yourself for the stop (apparently not very well since you wend flying)
