  • Could a boa be a good pet for a first time snake owner?

  • @xxtasha10xx yes I think so. Some people might disagree but I think a boa would be great as a first time snake because they are docile and hardy.

  • @xxtasha10xx get a corn snake or ball python. but ball python are picky eater.

  • @chesleycareystar I've already got a corn snake and a boa now :)

  • @xxtasha10xx same here thats nice :) i got 3 corn (albino, wild-type, snow) and a Colombian Rainbow Boa

  • @chesleycareystar I've just got a normal boa..She's 4ft and getting stronger day by day..She was a rescue.Someone wasn't feeding her enough. She was lucky if she got fed every 3 weeks and only on mice but she is now on rats and she gets them every week :) So happy that she has filled out and doesn't look skinny now :D

  • do you normally feed your snakes and move around a lot afterward? You have gorgeous animals with very very strong feeding response. Looks the tanks are in a high traffic area. That is a big no no. Id put them somehwere where its calm and quiet majority of the day. During feeding you are stressing the snakes out it seems. They are staring at you in a scared protective manner. Not a calm relaxed manner. Just something to think about. Im not a hater. You have a great looking animals.

  • good observation my bro....the cages are in a moderate traffic area but its only me the wife and my two kids. I know what you mean about the stressing and all that but they are acting that way because we are shooting the video and we're right on top of them. All three of them ate very well and are now on the hot side in the hides. Thanks for the comments my bro and your helpful suggestion.
