  • Wait till you see how easy it is to get the drawer fronts into position and attached - that video should be up in the next few days. Thanks so much for the comments!

  • Love it. Really high quality build, and the method for drawer slides makes me simultaneously love and hate you (hate because of how badly I've fought these things in the past, and love for obvious reasons). Thanks!

  • Great stuff.

  • You guys are really funny... Gloria Estefan :)... anyway, thanks everybody for watching!

  • Absolutely right, the middle divider was put in to make it more rigid. It also adds to the weight of the base. With a very heavy torsion box top, a little extra weight on the bottom doesn't hurt. Last but not least, even though there is probably little chance of it happening, the middle divider will help prevent the two sides of the cabinet from bowing out under a heavy load.

  • I will have to get those type of drawer slides from now on. Thanks. I have always preferred to make things more difficult. Isn't that the way to do it? :)

  • Is the middle shelf in there just to make it more ridged?

  • @FloppyHatPhotos Good question but I believe you're right.Great video Steve and by the way, I never figured you for a Gloria Estefan guy.

  • Well presented! I use a very similar method.
