@letism As I said, in Australia the animals are stunned so they don't got through that. Anyway, as it turns out that would not be a solution in this case. Indonesia requires live exports due to a lack of refrigeration in many parts of the consumer distribution chain. Best bet for all concerned, including relations between the two countries, would be to help get their slaughter procedures up to scratch.

We DID NOT train them to do THIS! They are ignoring the training, the protocol, and ultimately ignoring humane treatment of animals. Some of the acts displayed in various videos are not only unnecessary but also torture.
We MUST HALT all live export until they learn to respect animals, or at least the rules that are in place.

Wenn wir uns weiter so rasant entwickeln, ist der Mensch sicherlich in 100 Jahren in der Lage, die Gene eines Tieres soweit zu ändern, dass man jede denkbare Rasse züchten kann. @alphanostrum Klar. Eine destruktive Reaktion auf die Ignoranz und Überheblichkeit des Menschen ist einfacher als sich weiter zu entwickeln. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Lebewesen sind unsere Vorfahren extremen, sich immer ändernden Bedingungen ausgesetzt worden die sie zu meistern hatten. Sie haben sich entwickelt und es soweit gebracht, die Macht des Atoms für sich nutzen zu können.
Der Mensch ist ein Meisterwerk der Natur der, wie unsere Vorfahren auch, in der Lage ist sich zu entwickeln.

This is disturbing and even more disturbing was a comment made by "David Koch" from the channel 7 sunrise morning show, without viewing the ABC Four Corners program he couldn't see the problem as they were at an abattoir anyhow and were going to be slaughtered! @GeneralG1810 No, what you see here - the beatings, tendon slashing and slow painful death - is not part of the Islamic slaughter ritual. It is a fact of life that many of our meat export customers want helal slaughtered meat. We should do the ritual slaughter ourselves with pre-stunning, as already happens in our country. That way we can minimise animal suffering and keep jobs at home as well as maintain exports.

@letism As I said, in Australia the animals are stunned so they don't got through that. Anyway, as it turns out that would not be a solution in this case. Indonesia requires live exports due to a lack of refrigeration in many parts of the consumer distribution chain. Best bet for all concerned, including relations between the two countries, would be to help get their slaughter procedures up to scratch.
