To lay the guitar solo smackdown just play the second solo from the live recording of Cream - Crossroads, the second solo in Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower. Page played better on Achilles Last Stand than on Stairway. Best solo ever is so hard! I love the sutdio version of Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd, but that got voted the worst solo ever because he wrote/recorded it in parts! Argument will go on forever!

Smells Like Teen Spirit made it to 26 in the list. Look up that solo, it beat this one. The solo is the same notes as the vocals during the verse, it took no creativity and there's no skill involved either. You're right there are a lot of guitar solos out there but the top 100 "greatest" guitar solo list is bull shit.
