My opinion is, when You're attacked, in self defense it's rather an advantage to be smaller than Your opponent, if You're trained of course. Probably You're faster than him, and his stuck up, because picking a fight with a smaller guy/girl. And it's mere physics, that a person with smaller, but well-trained muscles can hit a LOT harder, because the relation between the mass of the muscle and the energy of the punch is linear, but the speed counts square!

Guys my size or bigger usually don't step to me, its the smaller ones that do; alot of them cocky with confidence.. But yeah, I agree with what you are sayin' :-)

@SignorFOX : Thats crap! There were 3 guys in the recent course pound for pound stronger than me! Much fitter and some pro-fighters. In Europe I had alot of guys stronger & ftter than me too! Have you ever been in a fight? I'll tell you one thing.. 'Smaller' guys often got bigger hearts as they've put up with shit from bigger guys their WHOLE life! size doesn't matter! Its will & intention! Kids can kill! Im about to post a vidof my manager doin' drills on me.. & yes I live in Japan. U a cop?

yes, y ? douchebag. In fighting size does matter. therfor we have techniques to compensate.
I could emagin that some tricks wont work when your arms are too shot for your opponent.
But hey lets face it: U the master I the student so if I could see smal people fighting with leverage tricks on bigger ones, that qouls motivate me.
