  • Cool vid, went from Death Valley to Lake Tahoe on that road a few years back. That part of California reminds me of Wyoming :)

  • As a former resident of Central Coast, I better check out this part of California...

  • @NHRHS2010 Yes, you'll surely love it. :)

Also, do not miss the white mountains. The drive to the 'Ancient Bristlecone Pine forest' is amazing. I loved the views from the 'Sierra View Point' on the white mountain road.

  • A beautiful highway I might saw. I hope to drive US-395 one day.

    :)

  • @TVisawesome432 : Sure. It is one of the most scenic roads that I've traveled in USA. :)

  • @TVisawesome432 And they're resurfacing a lot of it, smooooooooootthh ridin

  • It's not just "furriners" that are unaware of the Eastern Sierras/Owens Valley. Most folks in the San Francisco Bay Area/Northern CA are completely unaware of the area. For most folks of the Bay Area/Northern CA. the Sierras consists of Yosemite and Tahoe.

Whenever we're around Mammoth or June Lake or any area of the Eastern Sierras were like the 1 Bay Area family in a sea of hundreds of families from Southern CA.

  • I drive down it to Lake tahoe. Very pretty.

  • A lot of our guests comment in saying "Most who visit California only come see the west coast and miss the beauty here on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada". Very nice video.

  • @ComfortInnBishop Thanks for the comment. I completely agree with your guests.
