For the first time I have really looked at Ron Paul and I really like what I see. And for the first time in my life I am going to get out and see what I can do to help get this man elected. He makes way to much sense. My country, which I proudly served is headed the wrong direction now for decades. Come'on America.... let's get big goverment out of our lives!

Ron Paul wants to de-regulate everything, which is what caused the current global financial crises. People who believe that the market is "free" and will "self-regulate" itself belong in a mental hospital, not that the rest of Congress is doing any better. Believing that bankers and other pranksters don't need to be regulated is the same as believing children don't need to be taught not to murder, steal and lie. Actually, it's far worse.

Paul wants to audit the Federal Reserve and restore the Glast-Steagall Act. He is not for deregulating everything just those instruments that block free market, fair play competition.

I thought Maher was a socialist. What happened? I believe he has called for more taxes and loves Bill Clinton. You could see Ron Paul was even leary of him.

I don't need pundits to tell me how to think and feel about issues. I like Bill Maher because he seems to echo my sentiments about a lot of issues. And, not surprisingly he thinks Ron Paul makes a lot of sense and so do I.

This is not exactly the right place to discuss Mr. Huckabee, but since you spammed in... Didja know Huckabee thinks the theory of evolution is bunk? He was one of the three who raised his hand on that question at the debate. He says he would have made the decision to go to war in Iraq if he were president. Once he gets some ridiculous notion in his head, he is not a man to be swayed by overwhelming evidence. Are you cool with that?

I love Ron Paul, and in no way do I support the Christian creation theory, but how can you think the theory of evolution contains overwhelming evidence?

This would be a long discourse of little value to either of us, but it just bothers me when people believe the theory of evolution is no-brainer fact. My only suggestion is to reevaluate the facts.

Evolution or not, vote Ron Paul 2008! Liberty is at stake!

Mike Huckabee has things against fat people! He lost a lot of weight and changed his lifestyle. He is just as bad as a reformed smoker (I never have). Will he invade our lives more, telling what to eat and bringing out the "exercise police"? I don't think he is for small government and decreasing the intrusion into our lives. If you want more government, you could vote for any of the neocons!!
