i can not believe duke fans are complaining about calls. i admit we do get some favorable calls at times, but to duke its an art. the game is to get the officials on their side. coach k gets in their asses on every call just to get them scared and intimidated(he might not even think it was the wrong call). duke probably has flopping drills in practice. ive never seen a team have more consistently bad called games. dukes not a good road team cause they can't take their refs
This isn't the NBA, if contact is made in the air it's not a charge, and Ellington didn't even jump straight up. Plus it was under the basket. Go ahead and consult the rulebook you dumbass tarhole.
Flopping is cheating plain and simple, refs that allow it are also cheating. I've played basketball since I was 5 and I've never once been hit so hard that I fly backwards and hit the ground. It's just acting, might as well change the letters NBA to the WWF
he's shown quite regularly during his career that he knows how to draw a perfect blocking foul on himself...unfortunately...he can't seem to get his feet set b/c he's slow, but the refs tend to help him out alot...he THINKS he's drawing charges like Shane Battier, but that's a sick joke
I don't care what anyone says, officials cheat for UNC. look at this. flop or not, you can't draw a charge while moving c'mon. and look at the championship game, he illegally screens a players foot, the player is injured and a foul is called on the injured player...SOMEHOW. i still don't get the call.
what are you talking about you dont even know the rules and it wasnt a charge it was a push off you are not allowed to push a defender with your arm to create space
What about the charging call Wayne Ellington was rewarded last season while going up for a block? NEED A LINK? How do you get a charging call in MIDAIR? The refs completely robbed the other team in that game, VT in the ACC tournament if I recall. Dude was like 2 feet off the ground and still gets the charge. But hey, it's the carolina way.
@ferrari4609 you obviously don't know any basketball with what you just said. it doesn't not matter whether you are on the ground or in the air as long as you go straight up with your body and arms. so before you go criticizing people who know how to play the game, learn it yourself.
No one will ever be as good as Derek Fisher......fucking nigger

You people are stupid. Criticize it all day long but the man (K)is closing in on 900 wins. I'd stick to what works.

@charliebum2009 Scheduling cup cakes throughout the year, and not playing a true road game until like 18 games into the season?

The dude pushed off...Anybody who has ever played basketball could c that. By the way, thats dooks number 1 defense..
tarheel33 2 years ago
that guy made a motion that "looked like" he pushed hansbrough - that's why the officials called it on him. (Yes, Hansbrough did flop).
