Hopefully we'll see Silva fight a guy his own size someday. I think the only guy remotely as big and tall as Silva at MW is Yushin Okami. Hopefully Sonnen and Lindland can teach him how to be a bigger version of them and he can beat Anderson...not by DQ this time.

I hope Maia does well.. Unfortunately Silva is a better grappler than Maia is a striker so its more than the classic tale of Grappler verse Striker. I do hope that Maia doesnt do a Thales Leitis/, but from what I can gather from his interviews and the way he fights that it wouldnt be his style.

Yes the sport has evolved, but when you have a 5 world champion BJJ champion get into MMA, he is going to have a HUGE advantage against his opponent, his record speaks for itself, and so does Yahya's, n Leite's. He got caught his last fight, but then again most fighters get caught throughout their careers, in fights or in training.

And his stand up is getting better, you could see it in his last fight. Anyways, I'm still going for Silva though lol.
