These guys are just amazing . listening to other songs of theirs ic ant believe my luck. A bit avant garde for their day but i find their songs all have a tremendous artistic quality. Iam 44 from northern Ireland , we need these things.
I would do a Google search under "New Colony Six - Sides" and I am pretty sure you'll find a means of purchasing that way. It was released on the Rev-Ola label, a subsidiary of Cherry Red which is out of the UK. I'm fairly certain it's still available out there.
Whoa! Thanks for posting the NC6 photos. My band split a couple of gigs with them in the summer of '67 in Indiana. How cool to see those vintage faces again! They were REALLY good back then! Really good.
Great to see some vintage 1967 photos of the Six-stereo mix sounds good--even if the production didn't originally capture the bass very well. Always loved the chord changes in this song--rather innovative, I believe!
Thank you for posting the fantastic "long-lost" photographs. What a trip back to the summer of '67. If only there was one video from the day, especially "Mister You're A Better Man Than I"
Super production and singing. Love this sound and it was done well. Kudos music producer.

I always liked this song by the New Colony 6 - it reminds me of the surf songs of the 1960's.

How does one get this "Sides" cd of the New Colony Six. I have all of their albums but do not have "Sides".

Please post "Muddy Feet On The Mississippi" off this CD. It's fantastic, and could still be a hit record.
