I think the reason they don't wear gloves is because after they pull the wax strip off they lightly slap/tap the area to reduce pain and I think the leftover wax would stick to their gloves. If its done properly either way the resuts should last exactly the same length of time as the hair is pulled out at the route in both instances. If you find strips less painful then speak to your therapist or change then as it should give the same effect!
