Haha, this is funny! You will NOT blow the shock or anything by removing the spring and compressing it. Then you would have blown it every single time you bottoms, won't you? ;) As long as it's air in the piggyback (if you can pump air in it) it won't harm the shock at all. Of course as long as he nor tide it like that. PWND!
It's actually a great and simple way of showing how brake jack affects suspension systems, even 4-bar horst link, which is supposed to be better at reducing it.
I just think its cool to see the suspension moving. Moving the suspension like that with the spring on would be kinda hard... So if i want to really see how it moves, its easier to remove the spring eh. So, to everybody commenting, i'm not riding my bike like that at all!!! i was juste cleaning everything on it that day, and i decided to take a look at the suspension path and film it.
@charlou3 not good dude, theres a reason why coil overs have coils. i woudlnt suggest doing that to much. my bud screwed up his fox vanilla R like that. liking the bike tho
@charlou3 you are the thickest rider ive ever seen, you took the spring out to compress it completely, 1, you need the spring coz you'll fuk ur dampers up, 2, buy a softer spring, 3, stop riding coz u obviously dont know nothing about bikes
Well either youre stupid or filthy rich. And taking it by the cabinet youre obviously fucking stupid.

what's the point in being able to compress it completely? I have the same bike, and the suspension works just fine with the spring attached.
