I think the Bush admin and Neo-Cons miscalculated the mess that would be produced out of invasion of Iraq.....if we were intending to control one of the largest oil reserve in the world via privatized corporation with their own hired assassins......did they forget the basic economic 101:
1. affordable oil = satisfied masses that would not demand revolutionary changes.
2. War = costly economy that will depress modern America.
I disagree, its about Empire(IMC), Oil Profits (Squeezing the consumer out of every dollar), the flow of the imperial Petro-dollar and the AIPAC.
The US should be out of the region. Its no coincidence that the figurehead(bush) of Big Oil is causing the wars that both drive the prices and profits of oil through the roof and then saying we need to control the oil
