First of all: go PC 2nd: don't even try doin that s*** on a 8500 I've got an 8800 and I have to have on pretty low graphics to have fun/non laggy gameplay still doesn't look that bad on low graphics :) also get some skills it's really not that hard to play cod on a pc cause you have the acuracy of the mouse, which beats joystick by far

WRONG, A PS3 uses a modified 7900GTX from nvidia. (I think it's the GTX, or GTS) so if were already coming up to the GTX/S 300 series stage, and the ATi HD 5000 series stage, it's gonna be way beyond, we could be playing COD 4 at like 300-500FPS.

but I've noticed that the PS3 quite often lags on any COD game. this isn't about online lag. I play COD often on my PS3 but it lags quite a bit, where you get to about 15-20FPS... - POOR! :) I hope system software update 3.0 will help.

You cannot expect high fps with an 8500 gt if your at highest settings. it isnt a gaming card. The lag is probably the 8500gt's shittiness. I have the card and when I put the game on ultra settings it runs 30 or less fps.

I'm getting the 9800gt can't wait i'v got a 8500 gt at the moment. I wouldent recommend buying one, it would have been a good card about 3 or 4 years ago but for todays standards its not that good, anything over battlefield 2 graphics its struggles with.

That doesn't run very well at all, I'd recommend getting at least a GeForce 9800 GT to run this game at a nice, smooth 60fps on high. In fact it's the weakest graphics card I'd buy at all, anything less is pretty much a waste of money.

I have this card too, working with a 550w psu, but it is not necessary. But if you want to buy cheap cards buy at least the 8600gt or 8600gts, in fact you can get a 8800gs for a very low price, you can run them with your PSU, dont know if you can run the 8800gs with a 300w PSU but you can get a really cheap 400W PSU.

Ok first of all 8600GT is 350 watts. Also I added this on another video "So cards actually need more wattage than their set 350 power supplies. Take into account the GHZ motherboard, harddrive, etc,..."
