  • hi yaya,

    I've got a quostion.

I'm from Belguim and a lot of your products you can't buy it here. Only Dove,

Do you ever use products you made by your self ? So yes, how do you do it, So no Can you give a tip to make your hair grow faster ?

    x.

  • @1993Lincy Olive Oil?

  • could you out the names of your songs for your video in your description box and also i love ur cat :)

  • try the new dove damage therapy system i use the intensive repair and always switch off to the heat damage one alot and i straighten my hair it stays silky soft and all my friends ask me how do i not have split ends:]

  • How do you wash your hair ????it looks great

  • most asians with black hair doesnt have to put any products at all to make it shiny..its already natural...putting extra products part from shampoo and conditioner damage the hair, makes it less shiny , more split ends... best product for hair is a natural ones like coconut oil, avocado.....my friend's hair is really healthy (mines already naturally shiny since its so thick and straight)

  • does the dove shine and frizz control bottles still available. and where do you buy the VO5 shampoo, cuz I felt like I want to try it ever since you said it makes your hair squeaky clean

  • Jajajajaj You make me laughted when you said you bought a lot of products because I all the time and my husband told me if I have a mental problem jajajajajaj LoL.... Thank you!

  • @Latinadexito I never said "I don't wear any hair products." O_o What I said was that I don't use anything fancy and not a lot of styling products (like hairspray and mousse). Not fancy bc the stuff I use are really affordable drugstore buys. Hair routine videos usually requires people to show others what type of shampoo/conditioners and hair products they use. The items shown at the end were the new things I've bought but haven't really tried (thus, mini haul/review).

  • can u do a video of you going to a store gettin hair stuff that would rock hahah

  • coco oil is better (;

  • i wish i wached this video before i started combing my hair when it was wet >.<

  • hi Yaya,

just wondering, is that your natural hair texture?

    p.s: i love your videos :)

  • @alletsanirbef Thanks for the love and support! ^__^ My hair was just washed in this video, so it's at its most natural state here...I guess you can say it's coarse and slightly wavy.

  • I love all your videos!!!

you are so lucky to have gorgeous hair:-)

have you ever tried to use coconut oil on your hair after washing it? it's really good if you want smooth and silky hair!

  • @katieaprilmay Thanks!! I have used coconut oil and it's fantastic. Such a multipurpose product, and it's so cheap, not to mention it smells like heaven! ;D

  • where can you buy jojoba oil???

  • @bamboohugger15 It's listed in the info bar below the video.

  • I hated the way the heat protectant smelled....threw it away....lol

  • Your hair is so beautiful! :D

  • olive oilworks wonders on you hair........................just rub it in ur hair 10-15 mins before you wash ur hair...........over time your hair becomes shinier. there are also olive oil serums

  • where I can buy a jojoba oil??? I really like your channel that really helpful to make my hair look good thank u ^^

  • HI..

where did u buy Dove Heat Defense Therapy?

    never seen this before@@

  • HI..

    do u live in HK?

where did u buy Dove Heat Defense Therapy?

    never seen this before@@

  • @gettingdownwith3p Nope...do I have a Cantonese accent?? lol I live in California...originally from Taiwan =) The dove heat protectant can be bought at pretty much all the drug stores that carry dove products ^__^

  • @YaYaLifestyle u dun hv cantonese accent actually, i just saw the chinese at the end of the video and guess if....=] i love ur accent xd'

  • Cool!

  • so lucky!! you have such a healthy and long hair!! my hair is frizzy, short and all dried out T^T thanks a bunch!! i'll totally try those products!

  • thanks! your videos are always so cute! :)))

  • @CatSchmid Aww thank you XD

  • dove drys out your hair

  • @greekoukla22 Really? I find myself always going back to Dove after trying more high end brands such as Nexxus and Redken =/ What's the drying ingredient in Dove?? It'd be nice to know so I can avoid it when I go shampoo shopping next time =)

  • @YaYaLifestyle Yeah, my hairdresser told me that and i've heard it a lot, but idk what the ingrediant is. smooth down by redken is amazing<3

  • thanks for the tip about not brushing your hair when it wet :o no ones ever told me that :| but im definetley going to stop hehe =d xx

  • i dont want to kno all that

  • @angielovesblue There's a little x on the right side of the tab. Just click on it and you will hear no more =P

  • i use nexxus shampoo i have very thick and long hair im getting tired of using it and i dont know what shampoo to buy

  • You have hair extensions, the longer lengths (the extensions) are darker than the rest which look died also but with a nice sheen. Don't believe all you read on the products, I've tried lots of different ones and nothing is perfect. some better than others but best thing is to eat a healthy diet.

  • @RMCKIE

Nope...all of it is my hair and natural color. In fact, I've never tried hair extensions, and the last time I dyed my hair was about 7 years ago. I agree with having a healthy diet and not reading too much into what the products claim they can do. Certain products do work better for me than others tho, and Dove is one of the brands that really works well for me. I'm sure it's different for everyone =)

  • wow! you have wonderful hair.your so lucky. mine has a alot of breakage. what can u do to prevent that?

  • u think thats a lot! I have like so much im trying to band myself from buying hair products..but i cnt! lol ur so pretty!

  • Thanks so much for the great reviews. There''s definately some products I want to try. I know sulfate free products, like Samy's, are supposed to be best for your hair, but they tend to tangle up my waist lenghth hair, and I've got to re-condition. Its not worth tearing my hair up just to be sulfate free.

  • So I'm a guy, but I have like long medium hair, and this helped out a lot. Thanks ;D

  • I bought jojobo oil the other day!!It is really greet, you're right!

  • I love your hair and those are some great tips

  • Your cat is adorable! HUGS

  • your hair is beautiful 4 real

I will use that sampoo now

  • Your hair is Gorgeous !!!! Holla at me! WE LOVE YOU! lol DId you really part it with your fingers?

    so u know anyways????[:

  • awh your cat is cute! i might steal it (:

good video! im like you with hair products, i dont really care what I use & i dont use expensive stuff on it.

what are some tips for making your hair grow longer? i get my hair trimmed regularly and im trying to drink more water, but my hair just doesnt grow. any tips? (:

  • your hair looks gorgous

    love the dress

  • Hi Yaya! I need your counceling, please?!?! i used to think that i had ok hair, but lately it is getting coarser than usual, plus it is super thick an full of frizz, what can i do? does your hair get this bad? oh and im getting A LOT of new growth and it is all coming out coarse and frizzy :o(

  • Hi yaya!

where do u get the sunsilk 24/7 creme?

ive went to walmart, cvs, and other ones but i can't find it!!!!!!!

    plez help me!

    I beg you!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think the only places you might be able to find Sunsilk products are discount stores like Big Lots. (I got the 24/7 creme a long time ago at Target or Walmart...don't really remember anymore.) There are a lot of different alternative leave-in creams out there if you can't find the Sunsilk one. The one by Garnier is pretty popular =)

  • @YaYaLifestyle

thankz yaya! and ur right =]

oh and can u help me on something??

  • well...depends on what it is lol

  • I love the tips you gave in this video and every video! I don't mind that you talk all the time because it's all great tips that I didn't know(: I always try to avoid heat from my hair but I guess it was a major mistake to leave it a little damp and went to bed O_o Thanks. Much Love. 谢谢,你最棒! And you are really pretty btw(:

    xoxo,

    perfect71q2(chinese girl) 哈哈!

  • Aww thanks for stopping by and being such a sweetie ^^ & Yay for a Chinese supporter heehee =]

  • im going to steal your cat!!! he's so cute! u r absolutely gorgeous and i subscribed after the first minute i have extremely oily hair... do u know what products work really well?

  • Aww thank you!! I think you should probably go hair products for more body/volume (they tend to be less rich and won't weigh your hair down) Once in a while, you can use baking soda to do a scalp exfoliation. Do a search on YT and you should be able to find some tuts on that subject. Also, never condition your roots. Lastly, in your case, you might want to blow dry your roots after washing your hair. Oh, stick with light products like sprays for leave-in treatments =)

  • thank you for answering :) i will defiantly try these tips thanks again!

  • thats a fake hair! no thanks!

  • Jojoba oil i love for my face, especial since I have excezma.

  • omg I was watching America's next top model and Fredrek Fekkai HIMSELF was on there doing the girl's hair! lol i got excited! =P

  • Oh really? I luv ANTM!! Can't wait for the upcoming season =)

  • I know me too! =)

  • Dove tests on animals

  • @BBritty13 Lucky animals they probably have a really shiny coat, with bounce, and volume.

  • @Troll82767 lol I wish that was the case

  • i use exactly all the same products! lol there good

  • yaya, i really like your dress, sexy n cute .. and i look to your arm and there some muscle in it, did you maintain your body like go to gym??

love your body too... my gosh... hahaha you are so perfect as a woman.. you should proud to your self..

  • Thank you =D Sadly, I'm pretty lazy when it comes to going to the gym. I think you can see my muscles bc there's not much fat in my arms. I usually gain weight in my tummy and thighs, which sucks!! lol

  • where do you get your anti frizz products ? :)

  • Usually just Target or drugstores like Rite Aid and CVS. Additional info in the side bar =)

  • chitoare is a RACIST!!!! err!

  • Wow, were u drunk when u left this comment, or r u just ignorant? I don't know what's ur problem with Asian "girs," but I can assure u that people of all different races & ethnicities experiment with more products than just aloe vera. Besides, if u only use aloe vera, than how do u know there's nothing better out there? I made this video simply to inform others about my experiences with what I've tried. Please try using ur brain next time before u go around YT making rude assumptions.

  • @YaYaLifestyle thats so true. asian girls is so awesome.

  • Wow your such a good role model! I hate people like that, I'm jealous of Asians sometimes because of how they look! lol =)

  • Me too :) lol

  • BUTTHEAD!!

  • I have problems with frizz. Always looking for ways to tone it down. Great vid!

  • I know it sounds really gross, but mayonnaise!! It makes the hair super soft and shiny. Just put it on wet hair. Wet your hair in the shower, dry it off a bit with a towel, put on the mayonnaise with a brush or your hand and then put your hair up in a plastic shower cap and leave it on for about 20 minutes. Then get back in the shower rinse your hair with warm water to get the mayonnaise out and then shampoo as normal. Try it, it works great!

  • oh dannngg i always brush my hair when its wet :/

  • samme =/

  • haahhaha your cat is so cool!!!! she or he looks really soft.

    thanks for the video

  • Haha thank you. It's a girl. Her name is QQ. She gets mistaken for a male all the time cuz she's so handsome..and big!! lol

  • i don't really listen to chinese music cept once in a blue moon but i really liked the one you had at the end of the vid :) and WOW such gorgeous long hair

  • Your so pretty! I am trying to grow out my hair and I blow dry and straighten it daily, now I'll only do it once in a while!

  • i have a question that i hope you could answer like you said that dove conditioner ditangles your hair do all the other dove conditioners do the same??? because i wanna use the dove intense damage therapy conditioner and i want one that detangles my hair well hope you answer thank you =)

  • Are you talking about the navy blue one? I've used it, and it's really good, too. I do like the one shown in this vid a bit better tho =] I think any kind of conditioner can be used to detangle your hair. It really depends on your hair type and needs. Tell you the truth, I rarely brush my hair. I usually just run a WIDE-tooth comb through after rubbing in my conditioner, and this technique seems to be working pretty well for me =)

  • yes its the navy blue one oohh ok well thank you veery much for helping me out i needed the advive thx =D

  • i've died my hair, and have done so many starightening perms in my hair. and im only 14, my hair is kinda dry. have any tips on how to fix it?

  • If you have split ends, it's better to chop them off before they split higher...then you would have to cut off even more to get rid of unhealthy hair. However, if your hair is just dry, but not completely fried, simply try not to wash everyday, apply too much heat, or tease it a lot (basically be gentle to it). Using some kind of anti-frizz or repairing serum will help, too. Check out makeupalley . com for reviews on products you're uncertain about =)

  • I love how you're a "wise" shopper. I personally wouldn't buy clothes at their original price unless it's a total must have.

  • heehee thanks...being thrifty is really fun, too, right? I always get super excited when I find a good deal =D

  • Yeah. It makes me feel good about myself. I don't want to be spoiling myself. And It's not being cheap, but shopping smart and saving more. lol

  • for some reason, i cant use Dove products... I bought a Dove shampoo and conditioner before... and it made my scalp itch so bad...

  • I guess it's probably too heavy and moisturizing for your scalp. I have pretty dry hair so I need stuff like dove to get rid of the frizz. Btw, applying the conditioner to your scalp my be causing the itch, too. I only apply the conditioner to my ends up to maybe 2-3 inches below my roots ^^

  • I heard rubbing your hair is not good for you hair because it will cause frizz and breakage. You do have shiny healthy looking hair.

  • Thanks, dear =D It's definitely much better to just pat it try. I like to wrap my hair in a small towel or one of those microfiber towel hoods while it's still dripping wet.

  • i have a question, i have curly hair and if i bush my hair when its not wet it frizzes and breaks any one have any advice on how to handle my hair without chemicals

  • To me, the best time to brush your hair is when you condition in the shower. Simply run a WIDE-tooth comb through after you rub in your conditioner, rinse, and pat dry your hair (don't rub). Next, apply anti-frizz serum of choice and define your curls by wrapping small sections around your finger (release after a few seconds.) Lastly, let your hair air dry. (Try not to touch your hair or run around too much) Hope this helps!

  • Thank you! This was v. helpful :)

Your hair is gorgeous, I'm growing mine to about that length and it's the same sort of style and thickness so I shall be using some of the products you suggested, oh and I never knew your scalp could get infected if you slept with wet hair! :S Better stop that lol :)

    Thanks again :)

    x

  • Thanks and you're very welcome =) I actually used to sleep with my hair wet a lot to get sexy beach waves in the morning, but I find that it never dries completely even overnight and my hair gets all tangled up, too. Btw, sorry it's kinda of a late response haha

  • I know I already commented on this video like 2 months ago, but I had to share with you my new hair product obsession. I have extremely thick hair and kind of wavy (just like yours). It's super greasy at the roots and dry and frizzy at the ends. I've been in search of the perfect shampoo & conditioner since July and I can finally say I found them. I'm talking about Aussie's Cleanse and Mend shampoo and conditioner. This is just the best thing for my hair. I've tried fekkai, biolage, nexxus.

  • Wow...I'm guess Aussie will be my next purchase lol Thanks for sharing!! =]

  • Thanks for the tips. I have curly frizzy hair that is hard to get in place. This helped. Oh by the way where did u get that dress? I like it. lol. :D

  • I'm glad you found my vid helpful ^__^ I got the dress at my local Target. I think you can still buy it online, but it's not as cheap tho =/ They have lots of cute maxi dresses that are like 65% off, so do go check em out if u like to buy clothes on clearance like me lol

  • im bengali from bangladesh which is south east asia u got aim or myspace it would be nice to talk to sum times

  • Thankyou this really helped me out!

    Your cat is really cute

  • Wow ur cat loves the camera and I like ur hair I'm asian too and I had the long hair bhut I cut it lol anywayz

  • Ya she's a camera whore like me lol!! Thanks for commenting and subbing :) What "kind" of Asian are you, btw?

  • how long did it take you to grow your hair? its really pretty btw [:

  • Thanks...About 2 years or so...I kept trimming it off lol

  • do you put the conditioner on after you wash your hair and leave it on?

  • I usually leave my conditioner on for at least 3 minutes after shampooing. Then I rinse it off before getting out of the shower =]

  • Thanks for the advice! When did you leave Taiwan (you are from Taiwan, right?) :)

  • Yep I'm 100% Taiwanese!! lol I came over when I was almost ten ^__^

  • good to know that i shouldn't brush my hair when it's wet...i have the same coarse and dry hair :( so good tutorial

  • Glad it helped you out =D

  • that dress is very cute girl, can u do a haul on all ur samy products and also a haul on cloths and stuff

  • I didn't really like the samy products...didn't detangle as well as the "unnatural" stuff lol, so I'm don't think I'll be buying more from this brand = / I'll probably be doing some outfits of the day vids tho =D

  • ok thanks

  • your hair is very pretty, natural!! i stopped straightening my hair, just keep it natural and loving the results, never had so much compliments! my hair is the same lengh as yours except my top layers are really short! i wanna grow them out like yours though, very pretty!!!

  • Thank you! Ya I never knew my hair is naturally wavy til my stylist told me lol...I'm definitely grateful for having the option to wear it naturally wavy or straight without too much hassle :)

  • i love the way you speak. your voice is really sweet but natural (unlike some of the girls on youtube who have unnaturally high voices ...)

great tips and tutorials too~ definitely subscribing!

  • Thanks, you sound like such a sweetie ^^

  • oh and btw i use dove to and it is Amazing it keeps your hair really nice and shiny and smells great

  • That may be true but i find if i brush my hair before i tie it up or leave it out my hair becomes more easy to Mantaine.! then not brushing it at all I brush my hair while in the shower to there is nothing wrong with brushing your hair in the shower or after one! but everyones hair is difrent mine never breakes in the shower I have mantained my hair and it is healthy .

  • How long did it take you to grow your hair that long? :)

  • My longest layers have always been at least 3-4 inches below my shoulders. Growing the extra 8 inches took about around 2 years...cuz I kept chopping my ends off (about every 3 months or so). ^^

  • Uhm where did you get if you brush your hair when its wet it brakes.!Im 100% sure your hair when it is wet is more stronger,You can brush your hair when it is wet.

  • Sorry I can't give you a scientific explanation, but every stylist that I have spoken to has told me so. Also if you just google "how to maintain healthy hair," you'll see most of the results will suggest you not to brush your hair when it's wet bc the strands will snap and get damaged easily. It makes sense to me bc I notice that if I put my hair in a bun or braids when it's wet or damp, I get better curls/waves (bc wet hair is more capable of being reshaped hence I think it's weaker). ^^

  • Haha, when your hair is wet it's in it's weekest form. You'll find when you're in the shower your hair breaks easily.

  • you put a lot of stuff in your hair. Do you recommend ALL of that? after i get out of the shower and comb my hair i only use this Treseme heat protection spray stuff then blowdry it. Also, which product do you like the best?

(Sorry, a lot of questions for you) lol

  • Sorry if i didn't make it clear in the vid. I only use one anti-frizz product at a time after washing my hair. I just let it air dry most of the time (unless I'm in a hurry to go out or go to sleep). I'm just showing what products I use on a regular basis. I really like the Tresemme one right now. I would also recommend all the Dove ones shown ^^

    lol no problem =]

  • 6:56 i love your cat !

  • I do, too!! haha Thank you :)

  • im tryying to grow my hahir out too but how do you deal with really bad ends when you try growing it out? btw looove your vids

  • First of all, thank you for your support...it means a lot to me =D

I agree with kokrakoko...it's crucial to chop off damaged hair to maintain healthy hair, or else those strands are just gonna keep splitting =/ You might want to consider taking a supplement rich in biotin. Btw, I listed some dos and don'ts in the info box...dunno if you had a chance to go thru em ^^
