  • ladies...hide your mom's. Nick Cave is in town..

  • Pretty damn good song!!! I remember seeing this the first time on Letterman, that same episode, Drew Carey said he'd take over on The Price is Right.

  • go-go facial hair!

  • half-scale guitars R awesome!

  • sorry to sound like a know it all but - it's actually an electric mandolin or a mandocaster as it's affectionately called.

  • Never have I seen four elegantly dressed homeless men rock so hard!

  • i will only say that nick cave is one of the most handsome men i've ever laid eyes on. grinderman doesn't really do it for me, but i am so glad he's still making music. can't be playing music for this long and have every project be appealing to every fan.

  • wont somebody touch me!!!!!

    yeahhhhh baby i will

  • Funny trivia about this clip: They originally wanted to play No Pussy Blues and Letterman's people said "errr OK, but as long as you don't say the word 'pussy' " he he ;-) morons.

Now I'm an old fart of 43 I love that the fact that the collective age of the band is over 200 years !

  • Just saw them live this Monday night at the Forum in Melbourne. Grinderman stuff first, then the 'Nick Cave' songs in the second half. Fukcing awesome.

The buzz saw guitar that dominates this album reflects that unusually Nick wrote most of the songs on guitar, not keyboards as he usually does. It takes his stuff to a whole new place. I love it.

  • Re-instilling my faith in Rock N Roll!!

    thank god for GRINDERMAN.

  • i agree, their is light at the end of the tunnel!

  • I've not been so rocked by dudes with beards since ZZ Top!

  • wheres yr sense of humour?? try a beer or somethıng stronger :) punk rock et al was all about havıng a laugh - ım stıll laughıng and ım 44

  • I love these guys, but completely understand why you would say this: It's a raw cacophony that polarises. When that siren-like guitar kicks in at the start of HoneyBee it either kicks you in the gut or doesn't. Ditto Get It On and NPB.

  • I disagree- this is the most exciting band I've heard in years. I almost wish Nick and the Seeds weren't involved because then we'd have NEW people to be impressed by! It says a lot that four guys in their fifties are kicking the shit out of any new 'punk' band around!

  • this is awesome

  • watch at 2:33 the neanderthal guitarist beautifully banging away on that cymbal

  • Jesus... it seems Nick Cave went back to his punk origins with The Birthday Party...
