are there ways to make these ambient swell sounds WITHOUT a multieffects pedal...I'm kinda against multi effects pedals and would like to be able to create ambiance without one and perhaps with just a couple dedicated pedals IF possible...
@bluesintheblood Sure. All you need is for ambient stuff is a delay and a volume control really. All the rest is just icing. A little 'shimmer' goes a long way though. Check out the Strymon Blue Sky or Line 6 Verbzilla for that... and I'd look into the EQD Dispatch Master as a delay/reverb combo or something like a Line 6 Echo Park or DL4 for delay. (There are other, more full-featured delays out there, but those would do the job.)
amazing! between your demos and mynameizbrian's videos i had to run out and buy one today. i told my girlfriend it was all your fault when she saw me playing with it, i dont think it worked. lol

@crxshdxmmy thanks...I just ordered up a DMM for delay and will be considering the strymon bluesky after that.

@brianjdc Brian and I are actually pretty good friends, so I'll let him know that the damage has been done. ;)

very cool-I used to mess around with my m13 all of the time until I realized that ALL I was doing was messing around.

would you be able to share some more specific settings? I remember getting a pretty cool bell sound by using reverb and harmonics

@ZamarGuitar18 It was one of the synth-o-matic waveforms. Can't remember which one exactly.

Yes. There's also some pitch glide in there IIRC.

Let me guess, is that bell the 2nd tone in the synth-o-matic model?
