In the astounding year 3000. hehehehehe. Man, this brings me back. RRH, Batman, Gilligan's Island, Brady Bunch, Partridge Family. Every day after school. And to think, I never alowed my kids to watch TV until after their homework was done (usually after supper).
Just watching this kinda makes me quiver in my space boots. Takes me back, though. Some of the background stuff is truly creepy even when watching it today. Reminds me a bit of the days I spent ingesting certain compounds in high school. Did this Krantz company have anything to do with the Spiderman animation as well ?
Yes, one episode of Rocket Robin Hood was taken and Spiderman was drawn over top of Robin (and sometimes over Little John!) to make it into a Spiderman episode. (It's the episode with Infinata and Dimensia 5.)
I've never liked the show. (How often could anyone sit through overly long recaps and gushy stuff about "the astonishing year..." and "many years from now".) But to give credit where it's due, it was a pioneering Canadian cartoon series, and two of its principal animators have gone on to continuing careers in the industry.
(The preceding is the edited version of my argument. Sun stroke, perhaps.)
Yeah, since the vignettes are in every episode, even the first one, they were probably made first, before any episodes.
In one episode, Robin must joust against a robot to win the hand of Maid Marion, during a contest the Sheriff hosts, so he does use an Astro horse, or whatever it's called. But I don't remember ever seeing him use rocket skis. I guess I'll have to keep an eye out as I watch all the episodes again.

So if your Cosmic, your rich, if your Astro, your poor. Seems a bit unfair!

So, did Prince John of the 30th Century have an older brother, King Richard, who was absent and fighting in the Cosmic Crusades?

And the same company did the original Spider-Man cartoon. Later wpisodes would use plots and scenes from Rocket Robin Hood.

I don't think Robin ever used the horse or the skis in regular episodes? Must have been done early, you don't even see Maid Marian in the group shot.
There must be a nuke in the arrow to be able to blow up a monster larger than a castle :)
