  • In the astounding year 3000. hehehehehe. Man, this brings me back. RRH, Batman, Gilligan's Island, Brady Bunch, Partridge Family. Every day after school. And to think, I never alowed my kids to watch TV until after their homework was done (usually after supper).

  • "Fun loving astral adventurer" who laughs his head of before throwing arrows into someones brain

  • So if your Cosmic, your rich, if your Astro, your poor. Seems a bit unfair!

  • So, did Prince John of the 30th Century have an older brother, King Richard, who was absent and fighting in the Cosmic Crusades?

  • And the same company did the original Spider-Man cartoon. Later wpisodes would use plots and scenes from Rocket Robin Hood.

  • "He is fan-tastic..." ahhahahhahaha!!

  • Never noticed he wore ski's lol!

  • Just watching this kinda makes me quiver in my space boots. Takes me back, though. Some of the background stuff is truly creepy even when watching it today. Reminds me a bit of the days I spent ingesting certain compounds in high school. Did this Krantz company have anything to do with the Spiderman animation as well ?

  • Yes, one episode of Rocket Robin Hood was taken and Spiderman was drawn over top of Robin (and sometimes over Little John!) to make it into a Spiderman episode. (It's the episode with Infinata and Dimensia 5.)

  • The merriest of the merry man... AHAHAHAHAHAA!! This stuff just kills me!

  • I've never liked the show. (How often could anyone sit through overly long recaps and gushy stuff about "the astonishing year..." and "many years from now".) But to give credit where it's due, it was a pioneering Canadian cartoon series, and two of its principal animators have gone on to continuing careers in the industry.

(The preceding is the edited version of my argument. Sun stroke, perhaps.)

  • Just think ... only 991 so-so years to go until the years get to be astounding.

Oh, and "Don't electro-quarterstaff me, Bro."

  • Steals from the cosmic rich and gives to the astro poor lol Classic stuff here.

  • sounds like obama.

  • Still one of my favorite cartoons as a kid, even today. Still the best of old.

  • Thank you, that took me back 30+ years

  • loved the econoanimaton of this show lol. A great find.

  • i liked this show as a kid, now it just feels like on a freaky acid trip seeing this.

  • Trippy is right. Wow, this is so weird.

  • This has got to be the stupidest fucking thing I've EVER seen.

  • one of my favorite shows growing up, that and spiderman....great adventures...is their a remake and can youtube download an entire episode..ths

  • great video and I've rated it as five stars. Please check out mine on some old 1920's trading cards of pirates, highwaymen and outlaws.

  • can you upload an entire episode please?

  • "Robs from the cosmic rich... to give to the astro poor"! Haha, gotta love the kooky dialogue!

  • 7am Saturday mornings in Saskatoon. Damn...thanx for the memory Robin et al!

  • Channel 12 in Montreal.... after circle square (crap), before Johhny Quest... those were days boys!

  • 9:30 am on Saturday mornings on CKVU TV in Vancouver. Right after Battle of the Planets! THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU for posting this! RRH FTW!

  • Memories of afternoons in Toronto after School.

    Not as frosty as Winnipeg!

  • I always thought the Minotaur towering over the castle looked cool.

  • ya too bad he just explodes from 1 arrow lol

  • I don't think Robin ever used the horse or the skis in regular episodes? Must have been done early, you don't even see Maid Marian in the group shot.

There must be a nuke in the arrow to be able to blow up a monster larger than a castle :)

  • Yeah, since the vignettes are in every episode, even the first one, they were probably made first, before any episodes.

In one episode, Robin must joust against a robot to win the hand of Maid Marion, during a contest the Sheriff hosts, so he does use an Astro horse, or whatever it's called. But I don't remember ever seeing him use rocket skis. I guess I'll have to keep an eye out as I watch all the episodes again.

  • @VideoStart Hey, Rambo's arrow tips packed the explosive power of artillery, and that was using 1980's technology! This is the year 3000!

  • ahh haha yeah 7:30 am before school starts

  • memories of 7:30 a.m. before school in frosty winnipeg

  • aw man! I thought no one would ever upload it :) lol! thanx a lot!
