Honestly, this movie did suck, but I still loved it. It was the poorly written dialogue in some of the more climactic parts ("It's OVER time!")

But all in all, I still can't hate the film....though Sharon Stone is a bitch and a half from what I hear.

@LaraCroftDiary Because most critics are so old that they judge things based on "dinosaur age" movies and are completely disassociated with today's taste in movies. Granted this movie was good there was still alot more room for improvement and alot of things that should have been handled very differently. All in all Berry made a very alluring and convincing Catwoman, but she was so infuriated with how her career was changed by this movie she won't likely reprise her role as Catwoman.

Wrong. Catwoman is a Batman/DC comics character. This film was a shameless rippoff of the Selina Kyle/Catwoman origin from Batman Returns that merely replaced Burton's gothic style with some cheap R&B junk here and a ridiculous costume there.

Catwoman is a DC comics character from the Batman comics. Her Alter-ego is Selina Kyle. That's the real Catwoman.

This Catwoman movie from 2004 was a complete flop, and a total rippoff of everything that Tim Burton had done with 1992 movie Batman Returns.

From the 'insecure and shy girl who becomes the brave and strong Catwoman' to the whole 9 lives and ressurection through cats fantasy, everything was a simple copy from the Batman Returns Catwoman.

Years later, they picked it up again, Ashley Judd was set to play Catwoman, but they shelved it again. Then they made this piece of shit. Patience Phillips's story is a cheap copy of Selina Kyle's in Batman Returns.
