Tried to do 4K video test by After Effects. Did it, packed it (raw video was around 25 GB per 30 seconds) to xvid. After that, it said the resolution is normal (uncompressed) and i uploaded it to YouTube. Still, the video is shown as 1080p, - not 4K. Is there some kinda limits when uploading videos?
You can upload 4K using photo with 10 or more megapixels , it is aproximately the same resolution as 4k. You just need to make a post edition making a photo slideshow to video 4K. You can use adobe premiere for example.
IT is to upload 4k or 2k videos!! And this video cant be 2k because the screen resolution of the mac is only HD which mean if i capture it, i will have to UPRES the video which means I loose quality when you watch it in 2k or 4k, only a couple of macs have a resolution close to 2k but not true 2k!! IT is useless to upload a video in 2k if the video footage is not 2k or 4k witch means this is best only used for guys who work with RED's or other digital cinema cameras which record in 2k or 4k!
@malteeaser101 TO upload in 4k is nearly the same as with this video but you will need to change the resolution!! You will have to work with native 4k cinema files and edit them offline and once you are finished with the editing you take it into color and then you export it back to final cut pro in 4k!! and then you do your final export from there or you export directly from color!!
