If the fear wasn't there nobody would hate anybody, and the rejected would not become the rejecters. Some people thought it was icky and weird that Michael was friends with children. He had an innocence because he had a lost childhood. He was trying to give to kids what he didn't get himself.
it's not alot of times you saw michael happy. becuz of the stupid public, they would never leave him alone!
