After placing stacks of gel on top of each other probably like 10 times in a row, it still didn't blow open. Then I spread out the gels across the entire gap and it opened up. Not sure if that's what you have to do but it worked.

I can confirm that this also works on the PS3 version too, just keep planting gels across the wall and eventually you'll smash it. Though it's a pointless room, it goes to show how much of a true detective you are!!

You must beat the game in order to get into this room. Easy way to do it is Zoom in and align yourself evenly with the desk with papers on the opposite wall and then place the gel.

i did it on ps3 and right after saving dr young, i comfim that all version have that room and you dont need to beat the game, also, you dont need to have the gel to be so close, when i did it, they where not touching each other. but they still need to be close.

Keep trying, make sure you plant the gels in the correct spot. I've done this on all versions of the game except for PS3.

I've completed every Riddler challenge and collected every chronicle of Arkham. And now when I use Explosive Gel on the wall, nothign happens! The wall won't blow off!

@IchibifiedGaara No, you're just doing it wrong. Try putting the 3 gels in the same spot, which is the second vertical line on the wall, starting from right.

Let me tell you how, once you get in the Warden's office, you should turn "left" facing the 2nd vertical line on the wall starting from the right. Then, you got to put 3 explosive gels at [THE SAME SPOT ] .

The wall would blow off, repeat the process everytime if u couldn't work ;)

I go to this room and i spray the explosive gel and the wall isnt breaking...

Maybe because i have it on a PS3 it aint gonna happen...?

No it should work on PS3 too. Sometimes it won't always break, you gotta get it in the right spot. Also, if you spray 3 Explosive gels over each other or very close together, that should work.
