Personallhy I hate the invigorating scalp massage I prefer the fingers hooked on the scalp with a pulling action. It feels like my hair is not abused and I am not irritated with the fast like action. Being a stressed person I don't want any fast movements during the massage.Slow pace, slow but steady strokes and medium to strong pressure.

With regards to the face, I like more friction I wouldnot like my skin pulled. Period.
