I heard they're putting the 744 back on SIN-HKG-SFO-HKG-SIN route since the 77W has capacity issues. The 744's will be there til 2012. :)

Wow, I was three years old when this was taped, I fly this route regularly on Singapore Airlines, never remember going straight across the pacific though. Nice Vid.

Man, they use a 77W on this route now. The very last time on a SQ 747 I flew this route was last year.

Might be brand new plane in '97. I had never seen the plane fly straight in Pacific Ocean from HKG.
