Methinks, Obama deffinetly has a very high likelihood to become president, McCain took the wrong approach, he has been alongside bush since forever and he dosent seem to want so much change, he says he is going to do what bush did but succeed, and i dont think Americans are ready to let another economy saving plan get another chance to fail, Obama is going to pull us out of war, he we make our economy bloom again, gas will go down, and Obama is going to make it happen, i have faith in him.
Obama is currently leading in pretty much all of the polls, but there's a lot of time between now & Nov. Who knows what'll happen.
But no matter what happens, it'll be close thanks to the 'genius' of how presidential elections are decided by proportional representation, not just a simple majority of the vote.
Most important is that we Obama supporters not get complacent - we all have to be involved in the general election like we were involved in the primaries.
if this were a couple years ago, I'd say probably not- McCain would have won. But there's a genuine different feel in the air here right now (although I'm Canadian- but everyone I've asked is for Obama), and I think there's a real chance that (enough of) the people are really ready for change and are willing to stand behind this campaign. I'd say as long as he sticks to his principles and doesn't become 'just another politician', he'll keep his current voter base and hopefully gain even more.
Hello Australia! He's in for a battle, based on the last few elections. The country has been fairly evenly split among conservatives and progressives. But the mood seems to be shifting toward the Democrats this year because of how everyone feels about Bush. It'll be a battle. But I think he'll win it!! I certainly hope so!

Oboma you will not get my vote, Id rather see a republican in office 4 more years than see a nominee who demanded my constitutional rights be taken from me. I live in Michigan and have voted for more than 20 years now, never in those 20 plus years, did I ever think I would see a democratic nominee take a vote for another nominee, away from them, it is unconstitutional and UN-American. You will lose the votes you took from us even if Hillary is standing next to you. HILLARY IN 2012!!!!

Well done Barack!! A true David and Goliath story! I believe Obama will be our next President... but I'm not too sure about the "Hilary Clinton as VP" idea. How can we "turn the page" if chapter One is: "The Clintons??" I'm sure Hilary will contribute to the party, but I believe there is another VP candidate who will be better suited to compliment Barack's ideas and attitudes. Obama '08!!

Methinks, Obama deffinetly has a very high likelihood to become president, McCain took the wrong approach, he has been alongside bush since forever and he dosent seem to want so much change, he says he is going to do what bush did but succeed, and i dont think Americans are ready to let another economy saving plan get another chance to fail, Obama is going to pull us out of war, he we make our economy bloom again, gas will go down, and Obama is going to make it happen, i have faith in him.

Obama is currently leading in pretty much all of the polls, but there's a lot of time between now & Nov. Who knows what'll happen.
But no matter what happens, it'll be close thanks to the 'genius' of how presidential elections are decided by proportional representation, not just a simple majority of the vote.
Most important is that we Obama supporters not get complacent - we all have to be involved in the general election like we were involved in the primaries.
Every vote is needed!

if this were a couple years ago, I'd say probably not- McCain would have won. But there's a genuine different feel in the air here right now (although I'm Canadian- but everyone I've asked is for Obama), and I think there's a real chance that (enough of) the people are really ready for change and are willing to stand behind this campaign. I'd say as long as he sticks to his principles and doesn't become 'just another politician', he'll keep his current voter base and hopefully gain even more.

Hello Australia! He's in for a battle, based on the last few elections. The country has been fairly evenly split among conservatives and progressives. But the mood seems to be shifting toward the Democrats this year because of how everyone feels about Bush. It'll be a battle. But I think he'll win it!! I certainly hope so!

Did anybody see McCain speak earlier last night? It was in a dimly-lit school gymnasium, in front of less than 100 people. His teeth were yellow, he kept mixing up his words, and his speech itself was a flat, cynical defense of the Bush status quo. Barack is going to COAST to the White House!
