  • very cool but the one part you had me bitting my nails i thought they where going to hit lol

  • are they both hornby railroad models?

  • @geoazzo Hi,they are both from the railroad range,I also have Mallard.a Patriot class loco and a County class loco from the same range, all except the County are on my videos and am hoping to post a vid .of that soon,I hope that you find the vids interesting.

  • @gearbox428 Ah brilliant another quick question about the black 5

Is it a good model for what it is priced at? I myself am not really fussed about model detail but is it a good runner? I have the 9f in black and i love it but i would like to invest in the black 5 also.

  • what motor does that 9f and black 5 have?

  • @BristolSpotterHD I dont know the type of motor, they are both loco driven

  • You have a very successful gartenbahn! Nice to look at! Look at times "Havellender" channel! I am! Good luck with the construction and driving! The Havellender

  • Nice Train, Phil!

I hope there are not too steep inclines, for the locos will have to work hard and sparks could enlight the tankers....

  • @roadrunnerfn Thanks for the comments cheers Phil.

  • Another great video Phil. I'd thought of double-heading my weaker loco's to get them up the gradient on my line but never thought about a banker... now that's something to consider. I'm happy, and feel more at ease, running just the two trains at once. I soon get myself in a muddle if I'm trying to concentrate on more than the bare minimum.

  • @digest59 Thanks for the comments It was very pleasing to see a train that I had made deliberately heavy climb the gradients using a banking engine, I will try the double heading setting next time, cheers Phil.

  • Very nice Phil, I look forward to the next video. I tried to run 6 trains at once and that was a disaster. Have you bonded your rail joints?, as its hard to see in the videos. When I tried banking I found with DCC I needed to have a throttle in each hand to be able to get control of the sounds for each loco or I could give both locos the same address and use one throttle.

  • @faulcon1 Thanks for the comments,I must confess that I have only bonded about half the rails, I must finish the others soon, I am going to try the double heading setting next time, cheers for now Phil.
