ok - this is weird- this station also has the same news theme package as WCSH in Portland Maine (at first I thought WCHS was a typo until I Googled it)- WCSH still uses this Good News theme today.

Not no more. WCSH uses "Gannett News Music Package" by Rampage Music NY.

sadly true- but, even though they used that package for over 20 years, i'm starting to like the new one- YOu're way out in Detroit- how did you know?
Every station owned by Gannett, including WCSH, now uses the new music and Pyburn-like graphics package as of September of 2008.
And they (WTVC) is using the same circle-9 as KMBC. Not sure who had it first; I think KMBC started using it in '82 or '83.

Would you happen to have anything from WRCB or WDEF from this time?
sanantonionewsman 3 years ago
I have WRCB from 96 or 97
NEOonESPNchannel573 3 years ago 3
I have almost an entire WRCB newscast from 1998. However, the audio is low.
Oh and the theme they use is "The Great News Package" by Gari Media Group.
If I get a chance, I will upload it onto Youtube once I get some capturing equipment.
@DerrickLee2006 When do you upload the whole WRCB newscast?

Calvin Sneed is now the main anchor.

He is also their investigative reporter too.
