i tried to do that and it turned out looking like lumpy porridge LOL. but if i added a water like material and did some more tweaking it would look fine. nice work.
Thanks very much for the material settings, I've tried to move the noise offsets around but nothing appears to work. Am I supposed to modify all XYZ offsets in all 3 Noise maps per frame to produce the waves?
Use the autokey function, example: set key on frame 0, then enable autokey then go to frame 100 or something and change the offset values after you're done disable autokey
This was more of an experiment, and I don't recommend using this method for actual work, however, I added a link to an image with the max material on it to the 'more info' on this video
nice texture, but the rest I can do it's pretty simple just add animation to the noise on a plane and then adjust some of the settings to create the waves.
Nice, I like it :) My improvement would be a ragdoll falling into the water. Create a biped in top of the plane and assign him a ragdoll script (run script -> ragdoll). Then just start the animation and watch him fall in the water :)
hey i followed your tutorial and it ended up Looking like aluminum foil :( But You earned a Subber!

Wow, that is really amazing you did that all with no plugins - very good work! I have to figure out how to do the same now as well.
