i bought this with 2x8gb microsd memory cards and it doesnt work for shit. FUCK THIS. Wasted my money, it doesn't even show on the psp it says no memory stick inserted....

@WTFAngelx did you format the card?? if that didnt work its because your psp is the 1000 you can still format it using your friends psp2000-3000

Try switching slots/reformatting, I've known some people who took quite a few tries to get it to work.

you need format the card with the PSP the first time. if you have any date saved on the memory cards save the stuff first before formatting the card.

I have a regular 2gb MS pro duo and it takes about ten minutes to transfer an ISO to it, but my brother has this with a 4gb micro SD car in it and ISOs take about 30seconds to transfer to it

That doesn't sound right unless you got a counterfeit MS Pro Duo or are you plugged into a USB 2.0 port or a 1.1. An ISO takes about 2 mins on my 4gb MS Pro Duo just saying. There are also different speed classes for SD cards that could be a factor too.

@nickter You misunderstood the guy was complaining on how long it would take to transfer from a PC to a MSPro a 1GB ISO should only take a min or two but the guy was saying it was taking him way longer so I though either he has a counterfeit MSPro that doesn't preform as well as a real one or his PSP is connected to a USB 1.1 port. When loading games on the PSP yea they come up right away.

you need to format them in psp first becasue this sets it up as raid bassically its like you have connected to 2 hdd to pc on same header your computer thinks its one while you know its too so if one fails it will not work

so backup often

you need to format it in slot 1 individually (sorry if i mispelled) . then you put it back together .

Dont buy your Micro SD from EBay guys however the CR 5400 seems good bought one get ur micro SD at a local shop as long as your not buying from a chinese importer you should be getting the real cards fake sd are so slow,

I bought a Sandisk SD from a seller from ebay and it works perfectly (seller is located in the US), it also has transfer speeds of around 10MB/s.

The CR-5400 can take up to 2x32 GB, means 64 GB at all (tested!).

But your PSP Firmware also have to support memory sticks > 16 GB at all. If you have older FW Versions you will only see 16 GB, doe snot matter if you use 2x8 or 2x16 or 8+16.

The Adapter is quite more fragile than the original stick. Never press the Adapter together in the middle, also don´t do it when inserting cards. If people take care of the adapter it will work :)

Yes, the CR-5400 is an adapter to MS Pro Duo size and will work in your PSP.

It accepts either one MICRO SD CARD alone, or you can insert two at once at their capacities will be combined. Eg an 8GB plus a 16GB would give you the equivalent of a 24GB MS Pro Duo memory stick.

I heard the card starts having problem if you turn on a PSP PHAT with the photofast adapter still inside.

I was suggested that you should always put in the card after you turn on a PSP Phat.

Not sure if this applies to PSP slim though.
