WTF how can you not like this.

  • They boys had swagger

  • Fabulous!!!!! The "Oil City" boys

    (thanks for sharing this video)

  • my lord wilko looks like some nutjob haha

  • This is the finest pub band you could ever experience.....Stunning....

  • I was there! Great memory.

  • @harpersgun yeah right. i'm 29 and just finding them, was it bad ass?

  • The Godfathers were definately influenced by Feelgood. Both great bands that shouldve been bigger.

  • Went to see Wilko and band last sunday in Nottingham. Still awesome. Still crazy.

These Dr Feelgood days can never be replaced. I don't think we would want them to be anyway. Classic!

Incidentally, don't be fooled into seeing the latest line-up of Dr Feelgood. You will be disappointed. Great musicians, just not DF.

  • A true classic in rock history !! One of my all time favourites!.

  • Amazing band! Shame to see only 22,000 views when wee w***ers like Justin Bieber gets millions of views.

This is real music made by hard working people. Gotta love it.

Also check out my video of Wilko in Edinburgh 2011

  • saw them at uea norwich at the student's union 1981 or '82. what a show!!!!

  • Anyone who loves this music should make the pilgrimage to Canvey Island. Either to the Lee Brilleaux memorial or the Dr Feelgood weekend. OK so it's not the original band, that sadly can never happen again, but the current band are great. They're real gentlemen who continue the spirit of the band. Trust me you'll have qreat time.

  • Great music, great band, never heard anything better before them or anything better since.

  • one for daniel gareth richards.

  • Wish I'd seen them, once in a lifetime experience I reckon....and I only live 3 miles from the Kursaal!

  • @hotrodmitch

    great!!!

  • @hotrodmitch Ouch!

  • Remember the first time I heard Down at the Doctors in late's 70's. What a brilliant sound. Just saw this video recently. Would love to have seen them live.

  • How'd his suit get so dirty at the knees, I always wondered.

  • @titostacos Lee used to have to repair the van if it broke down (not uncommon) hence the dirty knees. If you want more info watch "Oil City Confidential"

  • @ken12345616 thats a great film if if you are not a f/goods fan

  • Aw - fucking fantastic Feelgoods.

    Thanks, mate.

  • Amazing! A masterpiece really! I love Wilco's moves, crazy eyes and , of course, his guitar playing.

  • Wilko played the tommy!

  • i need a tab for this!!!!

  • Fan fuckin' tastic! Ta for posting this! Going to see a special screening of Oil City Confidential next month followed by a couple of hours of Wilko Johnson doing his set at Sub89 in Reading. Cant wait :-)

  • @Cannnop If they've got any sense they'll release the full versions of the live performances from Oil City Confindential (including the great version of The Whammy by Wilko) as part of an Oil City Confidential Deluxe two set DVD!

  • Off to Wanno !

  • I was there. Eat your hearts out, modern-day "music" lovers: the atmosphere was as dirty and sweaty as Lee's suit in a great, much-missed and intimate venue.

  • @2001Uncle I missed Feelgood at the time - wish I had been there...

  • Fantastic thanks for sharing

  • loving the guitar in this!

  • Brings a tear to my eye...

  • One of the greatest performances in rock history. Lee looks absolutely knackered!

  • Fantastic my fave Feelgood`s track
