just wanted to say, that i love watching your videos :) i was super excited to see you creating this autumn card, because i REALLY lovelovelove autumn (you can guess XD) do you have other videos/cards with this theme? i couldn't find any. thanks for sharing your brilliant cards with us <3
KUDOS for a great card, always being able to line up your letters perfectly AND for having the patience to cut out all those leaves... this is probably my favorite card of yours!
K - loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't tell it was vellum in the pic and then I watched the video and was like, "Dude! I have GOT to get some of that vellum!" I also want that cork now. I'm making my Christmas list. This was a great one. Thanks so much!
I have no idea! LOL! I thought the letters would be small enough to be closer to the right side, but it turned out center! Just a lucky coincidence, I guess. :)
I know! I was bummed about the loops, too. Maybe if I stamped the leaves directly on the card, and then drew the white dashed line around them... Hmm...
It probably would show through, but I think that's kind of cool. You could write a thank you message inside and that's what they see when they open the envelope. :)
I love your card. I have a question for ya. I used my chalk inks with my acrylic stamp the other day and tried to clean it with the stamp cleaner and it didn't come off!! Any suggestions? I thought it would just come off like regular ink...
BTW, I love your card. You always do amazing work.
sometimes chalk inks will sort of "stain" a clear stamp so that's it no longer clear but that doesn't mean it's not clean. and the next time you stamp that color won't come off on your project.
m1y4l3o is correct. Some inks will stain stamps. Not really a big deal when you think about, though. When people see the finished project they won't have any idea that the stamp was stained. :)
If the staining bothers you that much, like it does to me, get some liquid hand sanitizer (Germ-x, etc) and rub it on the stamp, then wipe it off with a towel (an old one you dont' care for anymore would be perfect! :P). It doesn't ruin it at all, but cleans it really well.
I just found you and I love everything...PLEASE, keep them coming...

Hello first congratulations on your beautiful cards, one question what is your technique to cut nice and straight?
nanhetlen 2 years ago
Cutting straight? I use a paper trimmer. I prefer the Tonic 12" Guillotine Trimmer. :)

I bought my cardstock vellum from Stampin' Up! They're the only place I've seen the heavier weight vellum (cardstock).
