Bravo!!! Sheer artistry.. This performance contains everything me should expect or require from a perfect rendition. Mastery, creativity, imagination (the introduction of the sax), emotion. The combination is fulfilled, hence making the performance exquisite!
the tone quality and talent of all three were amazing, even the sax, i dont think the sax ruins it, it's just unconventional. although i agree, that there was no sense of the song getting progressively harder and faster, and the sax did not sound staccato, it almost sounded like the notes were being slurred. so yeah, those are the only problems with this, but other than that it was superb!
I heard of Timothy Sun once. He shows his talent with this show with steady and accurate performance. The trio works well.
By the way, don't relate everything about sax to Kenny G. In terms of the sax, the reed, the mouth piece, tone color and playing style, Timothy Sun has nothing like Kenny G.
Vittorio Monti (6 January 1868 20 June 1922) was an Italian composer, violinist, and conductor.
Monti was born in Naples where he studied violin and composition at the Conservatorio di San Pietro a Majella. Around 1900 he got an assignment as the conductor for the Lamoureux Orchestra in Paris where he wrote several ballets and operettas, for example Noël de Pierrot.
His only famous work is his Csárdás, written around 1904 and played by almost every gypsy orchestra.
I like the violin and piano, especially the violinist. She is really good. Interesting (original) slower tempo at times. But I am maybe more of a traditionalist and the sax and Csardas don't mix well IMO.
Excellent Timothy. You're accompanists did an outstanding job as well. And I don't know of anyone who has the right to call music of this calliber "rubbish". As a guess I would say this piece has some eastern european influences?
this is not for all east-european ! THIS IS ONLY FOR HUNGARIA !!! NO SLOVAKS,NO SERBS,NO ROMANS! NO CHECOSLOVAKIA ! THEY ARE OUR ENEMY ! THEY SAID TO THE HUNGARIAN NATION ,WE HAVE TO GO BACK TO ASIA ! BECOUES WE HAVE ASIAN BLOOD ! CSARDAS MEAN= HUNGARIA ! THANK YOU ! YOU PLAY VERY NICE ! GREETING FROM HUNGARIA !
Very very beautiful! So much feeling in it. I only find it a bit slow and not so much becoming harder. That makes it a little bit boring. But that is my opinion. The end was really very good!
and sometimes that's the biggest huddle, syncing all of the musicians together in the entire song. If that's done, then that makes everything else sound good..:-)

I think saxophone player is not thinking what is music.
It's sickening for me.
I recomend when you play music, not to use sfz too much.

Faster part should be played "staccato" not "legato" or slured, at least, it should sound like "staccato", that is only wrong thing about this...

This comment has received too many negative votes show
I found the saxophone a interesting choice for this song...it's a little too Kenny G.

Let's put it that way, his piece was made famous by others, mostly Hungarians, like Deki Lakatos etc
But hungarians have never hide it, it always said :Monti's csardas
Let's not bring dirty politic into this subject.

The violinist is very beautiful but with the saxaphone makes it sound jazz like.
Rubbish with Saxaphone.
