well i have had both car, and motorcycle crashes, and i sustained worse injuries in a car accident then i did a motorcycle. both are not safe. just watch out and be careful. keep riding.

This is why I wont get a bike because there is always some ass who thinks he is a great car driver or motorcylce drier and ends up taking out someone who is innocent...Still thinking about a bike???

The guy with the camera (as I understand) died after being in a coma. The guy without the camera died instantly. I knew him. He just finished getting a bunch of new things for his bike while he was working on a cruise ship. He just got home in April or May and this accident happend on June 10/07 in Hungary. He was an only child and was married for less than a year. He had just turned 29!
if you really knew him...sad to see that happen..i'm trying to get a bike myself...but seeing this reminds me that at anytime you could lose your life just like that...didn't even see it coming...
the camera guy should had stayed on his side of the road.

You could lose your life at any time doing any thing.
If you wear good gear, learn how to maneuver properly, and MOST IMPORTANT, SLOW DOWN, you will give yourself a punchers chance of making it out alive.
The thing is, if you are riding in a car or on a bike, and a viicle pulls into your lane head on at 70mph+, you are screwed either way
