  • LEO Should be informing the Citizen complaining That in this state, A person has the right to OC and never bother the person. Just as if they had a complaint about any other Legal matter.

LEO Should Inform them if They themself meet the requirements and all their family and friends do, then they are also withing their rights to OC.

LEO Should Encourage All US Citizens to not only OC but obtain a CWP.

  • Carrying an unloaded firearm is ridiculous.

  • its not worth the trouble. most cops will just shoot your ass.you were lucky the cop looked like a rookie

  • @havingtolistentodumb

No, most cops will not just shoot you, don't be silly.

Also a rookie would be more likely to shoot you on accident than an experienced officer.

  • @Colemanimation blow it out your ass

  • @havingtolistentodumb

    I've got balls of steel.

  • @Colemanimation so do i

  • @havingtolistentodumb

It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And I'm all out of gum.

  • Note: IT IS NO LONGER LEGAL TO OPEN CARRY WITH AN UNLOADED WEAPON IN CALIFORNIA. The law was recently changed

Do not attempt to do what this man is doing.

  • while the gun's have to be "unloaded" (by definiton) to carry in california (and some other states), full magazines can be carried on the opposite hip. which means work on your draw speed and mag swaps and you'll be fine. I've never heard of an individual carrying a gun with no ammo on their person... utterly pointless. All that said, i agree this was a pretty positive encounter between a 2nd ammendment excercising citizen and an officer.

  • What is the point in having an unloaded gun on you? Not a good idea to open carry. Draws way to much attention.

  • You're a jerk, dude. That was a good officer. Stand with him, not against him.

  • I wonder about the "people"who are afraid of someone just walking around open carrying.

Aren't most criminals hiding their guns, or actively shooting people as soon as they get out of their home / cars?

This fear of guns is wrong.

  • So what's the point in open carry in California if the gun is unloaded? What are you supposed to do, throw it at the bad guy? You can bet your ass that his is loaded.

  • @gmcdaniel1964 You are right- it lacks sense.....but the way lawmakers are, they try to compromise and be politically correct, in order to maintain their jobs come election day. That part of the law was probably a compromise measure, to satisfy right to bear arms folks as well as people against guns.

  • @gmcdaniel1964 Exactly what i said. No point in having an unloaded gun.

  • Comment removed

  • Rookie cop, but still show some respect atleast.

  • When I was a cop trust me I would ran their ID's and I would have found a reason to arrest. I would have had them all laying on the ground face down arms and legs spread out. I would have detained them for enough time to cause them to become disorderly. Then it would have been on... LMAO!

  • Now to the poster... Why would you choose to waste more time "invoking your rights" than just letting him check the gun and agree to help to make the public feel safer about your weapon on your hip? Something to prove? As a clearly educated person, I am sure you're better than that. Help the officer be respectful to others by setting a good example. If he gets to check you anyway, be pleasant so that the next guy doesn't have to deal with a jerk cop because you decided to prove a point.

  • This I don't understand. You all open carry, so you say, to defend yourself. Then why put yourself at a tactical disadvantage by having an empty magazine in the firearm? How much time do you lose by removing said magazine, just to emplace a full magazine? What if said empty magazine get's jammed? As a LEO myself, if by law, the firearm cannot be loaded, then I know you would be serious about self defense if there were NO mag in the firearm. I think you OC just to be annoying.

  • @FrankDekal I think you left that comment "just to be annoying". Your reasoning only goes as far as to support your point. Go further... No gun at all would be a tactical disadvantage. With an unloaded gun, one has the opportunity to load it and protect one's self when without one at all, you have no opportunity. If I were a thief, I would take a look at his hip and decide to mug someone els. Unloaded weapon deters would be mugger. Mission accomplished. Just another DUMB LEO. Donut?

  • @FrankDekal It is illegal in california to have a loaded pistl. This law very's in the states.

  • @glajl I know this. So the question still stands, why have an empty mag in the pistol, thereby putting yourself at a tactical disadvantage? The amount of time to remove an empty mag could be the difference between your life nad your death.

  • @FrankDekal i totally agree, theres no point to have an empty mag in. as far as OC to be annoying im sure theres a good amount of them out there doing it just to make a point and be annoying but theres probably just as many out there who are doing it for legitimate reasons, or what they think are legitimate reasons. i think people need to look at it from both sides, yes its a persons right to OC but if not needed it causes LEO's to go out of their way to make sure everythings safe.

  • @FrankDekal You're thinking about this the wrong way. The best thing a gun can do for you is not to win an engagement, but to avoid an engagement, by dissuading would-be attackers. If a criminal wants to rob you, he's going to be pretty damn dissuaded if he knows you have a gun. If he sees the magazine is missing, he will be less scared. If he sees the magazine is in, he will be more scared.

Guns are not about violence, they are about philosophy. "An armed society is a polite society."

  • @markerzable "An armed society is a polite society." so thats why theres no road rage in texas lol

  • @FrankDekal with any bit of training it doesnt cost time ... i myself would not have one in , but it would not cost extra time as the empty mag would be dropped as i pull the gun from the holster and be clear by the time i have the gun in place for the loaded mag .. but for an untrained person it would probably mess up and end up costing more than time..

  • i would do what he says. great cop

  • He's carrying nothing but a paper weight so why carry at all to be intimidating everyone knows it isn't loaded now.

  • Nice cop damn that's rare

  • wearing a gun next to a school...shoot this guy wtf have respect ,i am a gun owner btw

  • Comment removed

  • Most states with open carry laws make you carry unloaded. Even though you can carry a loaded magazine.

  • He was a nice guy.

  • that was a nice Officer..I like how he was poilite and also asked so nicely for the guy to just let people know it was not loaded...thats the way people should be treated...

  • Wow, carrying an unloaded gun.....possibly the dumest thing I've ever seen.

  • @boomerwv49 How is that the dumbest thing? Did you not read in the description that they carry the ammo on the other side. Thats the same thing I do. I also leave a empty mag inserted in the pistol, just so everything thinks its loaded and maybe they will think twice about commiting a crime to me or near me.

  • @boomerwv49 That's California for ya.... Next I bet they pass a prop that you can't carry ammo but you can carry a gun....or maybe you can carry a knife but only if the blade is too dull to cut anything. Sheesh.

  • The cop is actually being really cool compared to most. < That's coming from a former cop.

  • Nice job officer. No asking for ID but you should have stopped short of asking a "favor".

  • Wish I could carry one here, you are a dick with that cop though.

  • i dont get it... im from VA. why would you want to carry an unloaded gun anyway? nice cop btw... they arent allowed to check SHIT in VA

  • @UrbanLeopard13

    .45 ACP

Cause to shoot twice would just be silly.

  • He was respectful and had the right. I live in NC on the border with SC and SC cops are known to cuff you, detain you, fine you, seize your firearm, then release you for open carry.

  • are you not allowed to carry it loaded??

  • open carry should have been thought out a little better by the Californians whow were using the open carry law to open carry for no reason. Using the law has pushed our moron legislators to outlaw open carry. Now what?

  • These laws are fucked up! Honestly. If they would just let non offenders and non felons like myself just keep one, atleast one loaded hangun and nothing higher than a 9mm caliber. I believe this would reduce California's crime rate. Its because of this law they got felons running around like cowboys with their guns they have shooting up john doe because they know we dont have guns.

If these felons knew we all had guns it would stop them in their tracks, thereby reducing the crime rate.

  • @UrbanLeopard13 Why 9mm? .45 seems to the choice with people for self defence while 9mm tend to be a second choice because it is cheaper all around. Why not anything "higher" then 9mm and what exactly do you mean by that? No rifle rounds at all? What about shotguns? Or are you only talking about OC/CC? I think if someone who has no violent criminal record wants to own any gun let them. If they want a large caliber then it will cost a crazy amount of money so wont be used in crime

  • @MastersOfRs Because a 9mm round has just enough stopping power to get you out of a sticky situation, whereas i wouldn't personally need a .45 because I don't need my round to go through somone and/ or miss and go through a wall and kill a little kid. 9mm rounds are powered just enough for self defense where it's not going to be too over powered. It's got more power than a .22 or .25. I think we should have to pay major fee's and take long tests and pass backround checks to carry atleast a 9mm

  • @UrbanLeopard13 .45 is only a bit stronger than a 9mm it really depends on the ammo like hollow points will have a hard time going through walls since they break up so easy and are ment to create a channel wound inside a enemy and not to go through concreate. I dont think you should have to pay major fees because the criminals ignore that anyways and it will punish normal law obeying citizens. Most states require a CCW class and backround check... (NEXT POST)

  • @UrbanLeopard13 But the backround check only helps if they have already been caught commiting other crime which will not always be the case. Also most states have a waiting period in which you must wait to obtain the gun which also hurts someone who wants to obey the law. Lets say I want to kill you for what ever reason and you know it well you have a waiting period to get a gun and get your CCW while I can buy a Jennings for $50 from a drug dealer and carry it against the law.

  • @MastersOfRs And what I mean by major fees and criminal backround checks, I think it would weed out those that just want to carry a gun just to carry one, and those who are extremely serious about carrying a gun for only self defense purposes. I think the government should atleast give us that right. Or are you happy not being able to get a CCW at all and this fucking joke about open carry unloaded guns. What the hell am I going to do with an unloaded gun? Use it as a paperweight? What a joke!

  • @MastersOfRs Eh . . . I say don't let the crazies own a gun either. Jared didn't have a criminal record. I believe him being kicked out of college for immense behavior problems and a risk to fellow students, should have stopped him from legally obtaining a gun.

That, and if you can use a gun. I don't want any cowboy, would-be-heroes trying to save me, but can't shoot, and end up hitting me or an innocent bystander because they can't properly handle a gun.

  • @No1Complainer Its easy to say you dont want crazies to have guns but how would you physicaly do it? Someone getting kicked out of school or having behavior problems should not instantly bar them from having the right to self defence and even if it did stop Jared from owning a gun he could still illegally buy a gun like a Jennings (made in caili and used in alot of crimes) for $50 if he didn't want to make a gun which is easy and can be done in under a hour if he knows how.

  • @MastersOfRs What I mean, is like driver's ed. You're properly educated on how to handle a car, tested on rules, eye sight tested, etc. You pass tests, prove you haven't committed any crimes, aren't crazy, and can handle a gun, terrific, now you can carry. I don't even care what you carry. Just like I don't care if a person with a license drives a Prius or a Hummer.

  • @UrbanLeopard13 Or criminals will stop simply holding people up, stealing your wallet, walk away, and move on to shoot and kill, then take wallet.

Sooo . . . better if felons knew that people can easily carry, but not sure who. So don't say "we all had guns", would be almost as bad as "no one had guns". The less they know, the better off we all are.

  • Comment removed

  • that cop wasnt actually bad compared to most

  • nice police man ,, but no don't have to tell anyone anything ,

  • So glad I'm a montana resident...carry loaded with no permit since my constitutional rights allow me to! And I can conceal with a permit that is easy to obtain!!!!

  • LOL, that's not a cop. Thats private security. He is a civilian, just in costume, sorry, uniform lol. You don't have to even talk to them. They have no authority. Tell them to fuck off and go about your business.

  • What good is carrying an unloaded gun? Here in Tennessee we open carry loaded weapons with a permit. What in the hell you gonna do with an unloaded gun? Throw it at someone? pfffft!

  • that cop was surprisingly respectful.

  • He has the right to tell the cop no. The cop can't touch this guy's gun unless the guy says so. it's our second amendment right.

  • Just another wanker trying to be cool ..

  • WHY ARE YOU BEING SUCH AN ASSHOLE? The cop was being perfectly nice and civil and OF COURSE he stops you and asks to check your gun. What kind of a cop would NOT stop someone who walks around in a public place WITH A GUN?

  • @ihmesekoilua Cops who know the rights, if he was a criminal he wouldnt open carry in the first place knowing that it attracts attention from law enforcement. Plus many people ccw a firearm.

  • @ihmesekoilua A cop that works in a city with an open carry law perhaps.

  • @ihmesekoilua So what if I call cops if you are driving your car because women tend to get distracted and cause wrecks? Would you be alright with that? Why not is it because you where obeying the law and where stopped for a bullshit reason? Well that is how this man feels because he is obeying the law and was stopped because someone else felt that he was doing a danger even though he was not breaking a law. Also using all caps does not make your argument more valid.

  • @MastersOfRs Caps were used for dramatic effect, in lieu of exclamation marks. And you are confusing The Law with Common Sense, the two don't necessarily have anything to do with each other. In a civilized nation, walking around with a gun in public is strange. I don't care if you are allowed to or not, it's just plain weird. The guy in the video also seems a bit edgy, and clearly if someone called the cops because of him, he has done something to provoke a reaction.

  • @ihmesekoilua Walking around with a gun is not "strange" it is the soccer mom anti gun people who are so scared of an object that they believe everyone should be forced to their side against guns. Guns have been worn around way before you where born and they will be here long after you are dead so get use to it. The man was not acting edgy and if we let the public decide who is strange then its back to the ages of crying "WITCH". See how stupid using all caps is for drama?

  • @MastersOfRs Congratulations on using caps correctly. Guns in public is an American phenomenon, the rest of the civilized world does not allow guns in the public sphere. Even in the US, the idea of guns having been worn in public for a long time is sort of not entirely true. Popular culture, westerns, movies, novels and other stories of the "Wild West" perpetuate a myth of guns somehow being the norm. I'm not against guns, I'm just saying carrying them around in public is stupid and provocative.

  • @ihmesekoilua Your say you are not against guns then you call them "stupid and provocative"... I carry around a 30-30 lever action, a S&W .40 revolver and a .45 Colt 1911 when ever I leave my house yet I have never had anyone call the police about me but I guess in Texas we still have our rights. Carrying around guns is not an "American phenomenon" tons of people in every country carry the only difference is in America citizens are some of the people who carry.

  • @MastersOfRs I'm calling the douchebag in the video stupid and provocative. According to wikipedia, open carry is in practice illegal in Texas as well. I'm not going to get into a gun control debate, I'm just saying, again referring to the video, that if you are going to do something quite unusual, i.e. open carry, at least be a man about it and don't try to hide behind whatever law you feel justifies it. If people see you with a gun get scared and call the cops, the problem is YOU, not the cop.

  • @ihmesekoilua

The "douchebag" in the video did nothing wrong and is not even shown in the video so your "attacks" seem directed at the fact that he was OCing. You said "According to wikipedia" well that is a problem right there that you get your facts from a website that alows anyone to edit its information. Lastly if people see me with a gun and get scared and call the cops it is the person who calls problem and the cops NOT mine. They misused 911 and the cop illegaly detained me

  • @MastersOfRs I'm sorry, but that's just a load of crap.

  • @ihmesekoilua How exactly is it a load of crap?

  • silly silly law abiding citizen, what a good story to tell your friends about how you had your gun stolen when a 15 year old put a loaded gun in your face ;(

  • ok most germans were unarmed during the nazi government and look what happened. our right to bear arms protects us against a tyranical government. i may sound paranoid but damn, look whats been going on lately around the country

  • So, what the fuck is the purpose of carrying an unloaded gun? If someone attacks you what are you supposed to do beat them with your gun? Glad I live in a state where I can open and conceal carry a loaded gun.

  • you are a fucking moron. Why would you carry a gun around like that?

  • @stuart12001 oh my god, someone carrying a gun. someone using their 2nd amendment rights. HOLY SHIT!!! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!!!! YOU"RE SO EVIL.

  • @Fyreguy16 well.....yes. The 2nd amendment is out dated if you ask me. And should be specific to guarding your property, not flashing a gun about in public around children and people who dont want to be around them. so yeah why would you do that???

  • @stuart12001 ... it should make them feel more safe. criminals dont OPEN CARRY their guns. they hide them, they dont want the attention. if more people open carried, it would be a safer place.

  • @Fyreguy16 that is beyond idiotic. If there were no guns at all it would be a safer place.

  • @stuart12001 good luck getting rid of all the guns. thats exactly my point. you cant. criminals will always find ways to get guns. therefor we need to protect ourselves, and clearly cops cant or wont always do this. and just so you know, try not to sling insults, im trying very hard not to call you a complete moron for not realising what i have just said.

  • @Fyreguy16 please feel free to sling insults. Words do not harm at all. Weapons do. That is my point. I understand it is your right to bear arms but this borders on the ridiculous. They aren't loaded and therefore offer no protection and all it achieves is making people feel very uncomfortable and promotes a gun culture.

  • @stuart12001 they are unloaded.. why do you feel uncomfortable? if they are open carrying, you should feel more safe. they are obeying the law...so if it was concealed, you would feel more safe? if a criminal walks buy with a gun, about to go murder someone, as long as you dont know about it, it is ok. just proof that ignorance is bliss. i dont even know what else to say to you.

  • LOL! The officer does not know the function of a Beretta...Its our military sidearm!!! Dum ass cop...

  • what is this country coming to! Carry a unloaded gun...What is point! Wake up america!!!!

  • What a tool. Its idiots like this that make gun owners looks bad. The cop is just doing his job and you are being a prick about it.

  • Guy, I understand you have the right to walk around with a paperweight, but I think you are blowing into the wind and you are endangering yourself. Sooner or later some criminal is going to find out who you are and he knows that when you do your walking around, you have an unloaded gun. He's going to kick your ass and take your gun and you will be lucky to get out of it alive. Don't temp fate! Making the point that you can do a thing is fine, but making your point can end up in your death. Stop!

  • Yea, A guy walks up and, as the cop requests, asks you if the gun you have in plain view is loaded or not, you say no and the guy beats the crap out of you and takes the gun..... Right, makes sense to me. Under what law in California can you carry a pistol in an open carry situation? Please advise.

  • @RHINO6383 It is perfectly legal to open carry in California as long as you are not within 1000 feet of a k-12 school or in a federal building. Also, any private property owner can ask you not to carry on their commercial property (such as a coffee shop etc.) You can open carry the firearm unloaded legally otherwise. Remember, the cops are the citizens public servants not the other way around. A citizen actually has more rights than the public servants sworn to protect and SERVE them. Fact.

  • Might as well be carrying a paper weight.

  • @thekswervedirt Except that I can draw, drop the empty mag, insert a loaded one, chamber a round and fire in about... hmmm... 1.5 to 2 seconds. Your comment is absurd. Especially with the amount of tactical pistol training I've had. Now YOU on the other hand WOULD be better off with a paper weight. It would be a lot safer to those around you.

  • @elitedefense72 Sorry if I offended you, bud. Since you obviously found my comment as an opportunity to brag on yourself I hope you at least appreciate that. I also have training (I only say this b/c you act like you somehow know that I don't) and I am well aware of how much of a disadvantage being "1.5 to 2" seconds behind is. If, in fact, you are that fast after you've been knocked on your ass by an offender I applaud your super-human skills, Dick.

    Now go fuck yourself.

  • @thekswervedirt Sorry kid.... playing modern warfare doesn't count as training. Now go sit in the corner while the adults talk.

  • @elitedefense72 First off: Why would you reply to an opinion comment to talk about how cool you are? I was only stating that having an unloaded weapon is ridiculous. Sure, it's better than nothing but I was not attacking people who choose to carry in this manner. Yet you got all worked up. I was pointing out how the law can strip you of your basic right to be prepared to defend yourself. I'm sure you see this.

And you once again make assumption...."kid, modern warfare". How foolish.

  • @elitedefense72 Secondly: As a person who titles themselves as "elitedefense" you sure do go on the offensive quickly. Are you such a keyboard commando that a guy you don't know calling an unloaded weapon a paper weight sets you off? Seems like you need to grow up in temperament, pops.

"If your opponent is of choleric temperament, seek to irritate him." -Sun Tzu

  • @elitedefense72 And Third: Why am I arguing with some guy who can't get enough of oily-guy workout videos?

Buy a mirror and watch yourself do squats. Don't forget to oil up.

  • @thekswervedirt Shhhh.... hush now little one. You'll be ok.

  • @elitedefense72 It's funny how that is exactly what you're doing now, Beefcake.

  • @thekswervedirt Wow... my own personal fan club. Do your parents know about your retardation and obvious homosexuality?

  • @elitedefense72 hehe, you still assume I'm young. What's the matter, did Mr. Plitt's workout vids make you start projecting your own sexual preference on me? I don't have an innate hatred or fear of gays like you seem to, anyway. You can call this fandom but I see it more as me dominating some old, non-pussy-getting, clown's ass for trying to police a comment section for no other reason but to feel proud of himself. Act your age and you might not get served again.

  • @thekswervedirt Served? The only bitch that got served was your momma the day you were born. It was like a bad dream for all involved and I'm sure your lackluster childhood was a testament to that. You see, you seem to think that with your sophmoric retorts, you somehow are going to have an effect one way or another on the rest of my day however the truth is, I just don't give a shit. Why? Because you are simply insignificant at best. I'm sure that you are quite used to that fact by now. Sorry.

  • @elitedefense72 Oh, a "your momma" cut down?! You really are old. I was significant enough for you to talk shit to in the beginning, wasn't I? Let this be a lesson, asshole; try to avoid your impulse to fuck with random people on youtube. It doesn't matter if your 39, you still are a douche for using my comment to talk about how fast you wish you were at drawing and loading a mag.

And I accept your apology. LOL!

  • @thekswervedirt I don't fuck with random people. That's something that you did after I called you on your lame comment in the first place. And Oooooo I'm shaking in my boots at your attempt at a "lesson". I'll fuck with you all day long because you are a piece of shit. Now what?

  • Very polite policeman. And I really don't understand why one person would open carry a gun in friendly neighborhood.

  • @shikengriuber Why do you think the neighborhood's friendly? You are the typical "anti". Check out the facts about the "safest" neighborhoods and you'll find they have the least restrictive gun laws. Pssst... here's a little info that might open your eyes a bit... the bad guys carry guns and don't care about laws. Now why shouldn't the good guys carry guns and circumvent the possibility of crime by the bad guy? You think the cops will do that? They're too busy collecting revenue for the state :/

  • @elitedefense72 Sorry mate, I should have said, that I am European. And I live in a almost gun free society. So my views are right in my situation. And I am not judging you guys. And just for the record, I think that guns free society is much better.

  • @elitedefense72 Sorry mate, I should have said, that I am European. And I live in a almost gun free society. So my views are right in my situation. And I am not judging you guys. And just for the record, I like guns, I like to shoot, but I think that guns free society is better.

  • @shikengriuber Noted. Sorry if my tone seemed a bit harsh. I would agree that of course, a gun free enviroment would be better for everyone. Unfortunately here in the states, we have sort of built out reputation on firearms and hence are a nations of guns. I like to shoot too and it just makes sense that I am proficient with it since I live where I live (even though I live in a nice neighborhood) ;) Do you encounter many instances in Europe where criminals are carrying guns regardless of laws?

  • @elitedefense72 I cant remember when the last time I heard over a news about any kind of shootout. While homicide incidents do happen, they are pretty rare and I don't think that they involve firearms.

  • wait....so by loaded do they mean that non in the mag or none in the chamber?

  • @oud25 Both but you are allowed to have loaded mags on your person either on your belt in a mag holder or in your pocket.

  • you cant open carry a loaded gun? Wooow thank god I live in nc, I open carry my XDm 40...16 in the mag. plus one chambered. last month I got pulled over the deputy walked up to my window i told him my handgun was in the passenger seat and it was chambered. he said....ok license and registraition.....

  • Why would he tell the public that his gun is not loaded???

  • This is the sad truth and reality of the situation Sorry!!

  • --->Next thing you know your computer will be followed, your cell phone will be followed and your banking information raped and none of this is official police business it is children breaking the law and trust of the public! Next you might find yourself being stalked by a person online just to find out it's a family member or friend of this cop or one of their buddy's family or friends, whom ever they can find that works at or has access to the information they need is who they will use!

  • --->have been given secret knowledge and are now geniuses because they repeat something they understand and this may work most of the time but when they come across people that are on a higher level of intellect and experience than they are and the first word they utter of this tactic is caught you will see these people turn into the asswipe children that they really are and it sinks inn they are dealing with a superior intellect and they can't win with that game they turn into real pricks!!!!!!

  • ---->to do was to trip this guy up and that was an intent to manipulate and if people are too stupid to understand this energy system that their problem! Smart people survive and win the game while idiots go under, period!! Cops play both sides of the coin and every syllable uttered by an officer is of this intent and if you think not your a fool!! Remember these are average or below average people being taught something they don't understand and once given this information they think they----->

  • @southBAYstruts That's not true at all cops fake being nice to you they have no other motive than to catch you at something they even manipulate their words and yours to do this! In this video alone didn't you catch this cop trying to manipulate his words at the beginning? He implied this guy was with a group and this person said no he wasn't then this officer said ignoring him saying no he wasn't apart of this group then said "i know you guys are around" all this cop was doing was trying------>

  • The ignorance and emotional state of the public is not your problem and to be honest they need to be told to watch their slander and painting pictures because it can get them into trouble and the more redneck they are the worse it is!

  • after watching a lot of video on youtube regarding open carrying...i feel california police are a lot more well trained on handling people open carrying than most other states...

  • cops are dicks to people because when they treat them nice and be reasonable... the people just start snapping at them and bitching....

  • he seemed pretty nice. but my main question to you is what exzactly is the point of carrying an unloaded gun?

  • @drewshbag111 my question too. i feel most people love the attn they get. that is why they do it. a unloaded gun is useless..why do it.

  • @XboobtubeX more than likely, i mean i could see open carrying a loaded gun just to let people know you are armed, but i mean wtf are u gunna do with an unloaded one?? use it as a club? lmao

  • this is why i will never go to California, i will stay my ass in PA or the 26 other states that i can carry concield

  • Danbeb you are the reason this guy open carries. Your rights are stupid? I would like to see more corporation with the police though, They are only doing there job, they only came because another citizen called, they have to follow up on the "threat" and you know by carrying openly is a "threat" so be nicer and more respectful next time. But continue the fight for our rights. Because I don't think our founding fathers were stupid. Thanks. Dadbeb please leave our country and go some where else

  • @OctFall69 I am not in your country. Secondly, I am all for rights, but this right is pointless! This guy can get him in a lot of shit with that gun, don't deny it.

    1. Civilians keep calling 9-11 saying there's an armed man, tying up police time.

    2. A bank robber sees you with a gun so he decides to take you out first. Oh wait, your gun is unloaded! I'm sure the nice bank robber will wait for you to load it before shooting you.

    3. Don't give me that crap about overthrowing the govt with your gun

  • @danbeb -_- you really have no idea what it means to have the right to have a gun do you?

  • @danbeb Apparently u have no military training wat so ever... it take no longer than a civilian to load a gun and thats not including defensive training. and this is not just to open carry because we can its to prove that crime will go down and that we should have our second right to carry.

  • @OctFall69 Canada functions just fine without people carrying guns around legally like the US. Once again, I do believe in many rights. I do trust people with guns and believe that they can responsibly carry them, but it really is pointless.

  • Your right is stupid. Carrying a gun is not an essential part of life that's required. And if the gun is not loaded, what are you going to do? Tell the criminal to wait while you load it? COmpletely pointless, and a useless waste of times to carry guns. In Canada we don't have the right to open carry firearms like the United States, but we do have a lower crime rate.

  • @danbeb BTW. more guns equal less crime. A bank robber will not go in and rob a bank, if they know that anyone in that bank can have a gun.

  • @danbeb you have a lower crime rate because everyone is to dam cold to do anything and there is way less people...

  • @GunnyJaysReviews Everyone is too damn could to do anything? Come on, I'm in Vancouver, it's not that cold over here. And per capita you guys have higher crime rates. That's right, adjusting for population, you guys still have more crime.

  • @danbeb believe me its a lot colder there then the sunny weather in San Diego and the bay area... dude people surf in the winter here. LOL and sorry we have so many crack head and crazy fucks down here we just need to start weedin all those fucks out and sending them to Canada aey

  • What would be the point of having an unloaded gun permit anyways?

  • Why are all the guys behind the cameras in these videos douche bags?

  • You know your country is going to hell when people carry guns to walk their dog...

  • @sKratch1337 Expressing our right is bad?

  • I just dont understand the open carry movement. Why in the hell would you want to make yourself the 1st person to be shot by a criminal, you are target number 1 in the room. To top it off your loaded magazine is on the other side of your body. All of these videos just try to cause a problem and envoke a negative response against law enforcement. This cop was nice as hell. Here is an idea... get a concealed carry permit (if able) learn how to effectively use the weapon and be a responsible.

  • So what's the point of carrying a gun if you are walking around with an unloaded gun?

  • I know it's your right to open carry, but most of the vids I've seen on the subject the carrier is just trying to stir shit up by trying to evoke a negative response from law enforcement so they can climb up onto their soap boxes and spout their interpretation of the 2nd amendment. I think most of them are just pissed they were denied a CCP because of a negative psych evaluation and as you listen it quickly becomes obvious why the were denied.

  • wow... yeh u trying to leave while the cop is being polite 2 you... good job IM so happy for you, why dont u just change the heading to "how to be a rude prick despite police trying to be nice to you" seriously.. wot did u gain from this? "yeh look at me i overpowered the cop because he wanted to steal my gun!!!!" good job again...

  • I have never met a cop this nice and understanding EVER. I applaud him for being polite, but at the same time doing his job and keepin the peace.

  • Really the only reason to even carry a gun is for your own protection, soooo carrying an unloaded one is a dumb thing to do. If you come into contact with a robber or something you can't do anything, he'll shoot you haha people these days.

  • DICK!!! That cop was being cool, don't be an asshole!

  • So someone please help me understand, you cant have any bullets in the clip or chamber? why carry a gun, you going to throw it at the person thats tring to hurt you?

  • @rescue1engine1 Tactically, of course carrying an unloaded gun is ridiculous. Likewise, I wonder about the folks that gloat over getting a ccw "permit" when the 2A is clear about the right to bear arms.

This open carry is just about making a protest statement. In CA. the laws are wildly out of sync with the Constitution. Now of course, to open carry you have to expose either rifle or shotgun. Perhaps an even better protest statement? OC in groups, when alone, conceal it.

  • Comment removed

  • Cop handled this stop really well.

  • So are you carrying an unloaded mag or unloaded as in no round in the chamber

  • Why would you tell someone it is unloaded? That's Stupid. That is why I live in Nevada, I can open carry my weapon loaded. At least the cop was nice I guess haha!

  • what exactly is the point of carrying and unloaded weapon... are you even carrying and ammo with you? sounds like putting a target on your back or like a human de-clawing like they do to cats right? slowly but surly ill bet pretty soon only replicas will be allowed.!

  • @nunyafunkinbizz He's carrying an unloaded gun because his penis is very tiny.
