Well in the manual. Max volume is not the actuall limit. 30 just the limit from not hurting itself. So it has more potential than just 30.

I just recently bought this system and i freakin love it. I have a question about what i SHOULD keep the volume at though. I've blown a few speakers cuz i apparently turned it up louder than it could handle. i just want to know what level i should keep it around. i want to keep this system for a while.

@leggos yah use a headphone jack to red and white cord plug it into your tv's audio output go into the settings and make it audio out or turn of the tv speakers.

Ive been looking in stores and on the net a fair bit today. Ive found the MHC-EC909IP and the MHC-EC99I.

Could anyone tell me the differences and which of the 2 is better?

@xXrobcuzXx as far as i know there is only about 10 watt difference between the two. i own the mhc-ec99i, and its excellent. i added a couple subs extra to it to give it more thump. from what i hear the only difference is that the mhc-ec909ip has a little more bass. if you ask me, i'd get the mhc-e99i cuz it looks better.

@happyturtle18 i have the sony mhc-ec99i and i want to know how to add more subs to it ive had it for over a year and i want more bass so please tell me how to add more subs

@subman3498 you cant add too many subs to it because the system is only rigged for the 530 watts it puts out. i dont recommend adding another subwoofer above 200 watts, depending on how loud you listen to music. if you listen to music past volume 14 then i would not recommend an extra sub because the amp might overheat. below volume 14 and you should be okay. the sub has to be 200 watts or less, and 4 ohms. hope this helps.

Nice. Just bought this today. If you want max bass and u are using an ipod set the EQ on the stereo to JAZZ and on the Ipod go to settings and EQ and set the iPod EQ to bass booster. my parents cant complain enough.

I use to have a JVC stereo, it had two large speaker boxes with 2 speakers on each box and 2 tweeters then this huge Bass air way tube right in the center, last but not least there was two big ass Grills on the sides of the speaker boxes with two Big Ass red Subwoofers on the sides of the speaker box. total power was 560 watts max power.

@poojacrew it does vibrate stuff alot like ive have alot of stuff fall of my shelf, but I dont how it would compare to the mhc-ec99ip, but yah it does vibrate alot, and did the sub short circuit and not anything else because you can buy subs from sony and ill give you some info for that if that is what happened

Sorry This Camera Has The Worst Microphone In The World And I know That Because Has Mono Audio And It Is So Low In Bit Rate And Sample Rate. And For Those Who Don' Know Those Kinds Of This To Dumb It Down It Means Very Very Crappy Quality.
