Honestly, HR kinda dissapointed me. DX is my favourite game of all time, and I find myself coming back to it again and again. I heard A LOT OF positive hype after HR came out, everyone saying it was as good as the original, so I played it. It was... good. It's one of the best games to come out this year, but it doesn't hold up for even a second when put against THIS gem. I really can't see myself coming back to it, and for me, that means it failed. It was, however, once again, REALLY GOOD.

Wow! Just Wow!! The first time i heard this, it blew me away! I absoultly love this game, it's one of my favorites of all time. This theme song is one that just gets you gripped and makes you want to get involved in this game. Excellent music!!

One of the best things about this game for me was that turning to the "Bad guys" actually seemed like a plot twist. In most games when there's a guerilla fighting versus the government, the government is always painfully obviously the bad guys. Here whilst UNATCO seemed pretty bad, the NSF seemed even worse, as though you were fighting for the lesser of two evils. Later on there's Paul's "betrayal", which is genuinely surprising the first time round.
@Konerak You know, I think by this point in time, any one who's going to play and like Deus Ex has already played it. And in the unlikely case that there's someone who's going to enjoy it and hasn't played it, I doubt they'll come to this video before having gotten to that point.

Loved it the second time even more because I was older and smarter and understood more of the character depth , took time to read all the datacubes and puzzle pieces together with more patience than before creating a much more realistic game than my previous rambo bazooka style.
@MrAgnost Alright, I think you might be right! I just reinstalled it, and I found out there are like some better texture mods and the alike to spruce it up! :D I'm so exited to go back
Deus Ex = Great game with a good story and awesome game play. Loved all the conspiracy theories they just put out there to give thought to the player.
Most games decisions carry 'Morality' to them, but this game, you don't know if your decisions are bad and how much weight it will carry. The story was GREAT and I enjoyed the conspiracy theory's. I loved being stealthy and the amount of ways you could complete missions.

The title is from Deus Ex Machina, as ezpn says. It's a half-reference to the story and half-dig at other game's shoddy writing (according to an interview with Warren Spector). It comes from the literary device that originated in Greek theater, where a god would appear from nowhere at the end of the story to wrap everything up all nice and neat without any prior introduction or build-up.
i hated it : ( it did everything wrong the only good thing was the story, and i never saw it through to the end, but the online, wow, the hit dectection was bad, the wepons didnt aim at all, there was lag, every bloody time you joined a game there was a mod, but i loved the mp, simply because the people were nice : )

I think this is a game that doesn't leave a great first impression, but when you stick with it after a couple hours you really start getting into it. I can't wait for Human Revolution, hopefully Eidos Montreal does a good job with it, it does seem very good so far from what I've read. I wish they'd get Alexander Brandon to do the music, Michael McCann has some big shoes to fill.
Also, I'm very busy these days and I'll continue to be this week, so there won't be too many uploads during that time. I'll be spending a lot of time outside the house.
@SupraDarky Yep, pretty much hit the nail on the head for me. I HATED Deus Ex when I first played it as well. But I decided not to give up and I eventually grew to truly love and appreciate it for what a great game it is. Recently I have gotten my best friend into playing Deus Ex, and he feels just the same about it as I do. It's things like that which make me proud to be a gamer.
@SupraDarky yeah when i started playing i was like "ok....." but when i got to the level where your jumping around on rooftops to infiltrate the base i was like "HELL YEAH!" and now i love it
great song. UNATCO is probably my favorite track in the game though.

and man, I enjoyed the game heaps!
