@recon205 if you still havent bought it buy either The "ASUS G60VX-RBBX05" it has the same specs as the one in the video(also the one i have) but a faster core2duo 2.15GHz CPU for the same price over at Tiger . com or you could spend an extra $50 and get the Asus G71GX-RX05 which has a core2duo at 2.54GHz 6GB RAM and a 17" screen. take a look at them at Tiger . com it's a great site i trust it with all my gadgets.

would you say that the low screen resolution effects the look of games at all?

@demonchacer No, I wouldn't say that at all. The image is crisp and clear be it games, movies, text, etc. Most (if not all) of the newest games natively support 1366x768 resolution so I never had a problem with games not showing up properly. I'm still using this laptop today and it performs like the day I got it. So far, this laptop is the biggest and bestest investment I have made in my life. Hope that helps.

@12345cacahead There is no Halo: Reach for PC. It is an XBox 360 exclusive. Also, Modern Warfare 2 does perform very well. Runs at 70-80 fps everything maxed out which is more than enough for a very smooth gameplay.

@rubinyokiller Recording with Fraps drops framerate by nearly a half. With a cam, it shows a true number of frames when playing games. No altering to the fps number.

I have the same system. Try running the game with graphic mods/world replacers. Totally kills the FPS.

what resolution are you using? Thats the same FPS range I get with GTX 275 at 1920x1080

@KRandMJ Yes, the newer model is called G60JX-RBBX05, it has a better processor Intel® Core™ i5, 16-inch screen and 4GB "DDR3" memory. Not DDR2 like this one. The cost is around $850. I bought this for around 1200 back in August of last year. There is also G51Jx A1 which has an i7 and 8GB of RAM but it's kinda pricy, ranges between $1,364.00 - $1,499.99.

In Dalaran there Is always lag too many players there so doesnt matter lolz.
