I will have this year exams for ICND1 and ICND2 i am at the second year and i am studying networks.I wanna say when you are studying, its a big opportunity to give exams for CCNA because you are doing the basic knowledge at your college.2 hours guys , just 2 fucking hours studying every day for 8 months and then your future !!!!!
@mjs1231 Damn that's the best advice I've seen on here. Keep it real and spread the word... We need to do something about all this government control. Land of the Free My ass.
love the corporations, love the jackboots, love the federal reserve and worship government, its good yayyyyy. love the banker bailouts, love the TSA and love it when your families home is taken by the banks, love it all every day. its good and its for you right ?
Dont for get, every 3 years, your retested to prove self. why isnt that free ? well because its a raquet. pay up or you must be stupid lol. Years of experience and hundred of hours of training, all of a sudden, you just forgot everything lol.
This system are nothing but a way to defraud money from you. WAKE UP.
I have a question. What if I have acquired a lot of knowledge but I don't have a degree. Let's say i have gained a lot of knowledge through self teaching but I want to be certified. Is that possible? Thanks for your response in advance.
i'm studying for my 640-802 ,and we are using the cisco books, and it is quite a lot of material that is covered in the books,do your videos cover everything that the cisco books cover? and if are they cover in the same amount of detail? im interested in your videos but i am afraid that some parts that are in the books are not cover in the video
is it possible to pass the CCNA exam without attending the academy? i ve got no experience in the field, i have never touched nor seen a networking equipment face to face but i have cracked all the CCNA curricula, with several network simulators, and some other books.. can anyone help me?
@tefjam2009 There is a great program called packet tracer that is a networking simulator that is excellent on a CCNA level. When you start studying CCNP, there are many things the program doesn't do but for you this tool would be very helpful. I believe there is a version that comes with a tutorial as well... Just realize that getting your network to work can be really frustrating at times. You think there is something wrong with the program but it is always something small that you overlooked
@tefjam2009 Well transcender comes with every set that trainsignal sells and it is (from what I understand) the majority of actual test questions from the actual tests. If you can't afford the trainsignal videos, the transcender only costs around 100 dollars (I think). Otherwise, there are various internet sources that have practice questions. If you take a cisco certified class, it will give you a login to the cisco academy that comes with various excersizes and practice questions
@clayto1332 thanks for the advice i've been using the train signal dvd which has been a great help i'm focusing on sub netting now so wish me luck for the exam
@tefjam2009 Subnetting is easy if you memorize this chart and write it down on the scratch paper they give you on the exam. You don't have to worry so much about the class A networks but if you have the class C and B chart in front of you, subnetting is much much faster.
Well, I can configure the WDS according to this video and other training stuff as well, but the thing is this I can not get the correct results. There is no communication between the WDS and client. I am running DHCP on the same machine as WDS.
Even i added the DHCP options etc according to the documentations. So if some one let know the video of the How to configure the Infrastructe components of Server 2008 (AD DS, DNS, DHCP) so WDS work on the same machine running DHCP.
Man I wish you guys had financing available.... I want the ccna and windows server 2008 vids. My boss basically said he would put me to work on these things if I had the certifications
No, since there is not a direct need for it at the moment. Plus I have already taken all my ccna classes, I just need a refresher. I did talk him into paying for a centOS online class since we need a voip server guy for them but it is poorly put together and hard to follow. Ill just have to save up for the CCNA and Windows server ones
@70rm3n70r I know BUT for one its illegal and you can get a lawsuit. Also, it is hard to find the transcender torrent that comes with it and my old networking prof said that it was the key to passing the test. Plus many of these downloads have viruses and other malware attached. I really don't mind saving up and doing it the honest way. Plus these guys at trainsignal do a lot of work researching and administrating their product and its not right that they get ripped off for their great product
Im in first year of college. can anyone tell me what do I need to do in order to become CCNA? whats the first step? please help I really wanna do this
I recommend the 1 test option personally. The CCENT topics are really not that difficult if you apply yourself and nail down core basic concepts. When you read about the basics, then do a lab to strengthen your understanding it will do wonders for you. Take that approach through your CCNP and as long as you know the basics, you can add onto it and progressively get better.
Not exactly on topic, but I just wanted to say that I bought Train Signal's complete catalog in January, 2008. It was a lot of money, but I have studied the videos (and the audio files I converted/extracted) almost every day since I got it. I worked through the operating systems vids, the server vids, and now I am doing the Cisco vids. Great stuff, highly recommended. They do a great job. Thanks Train Signal! Erik Mannie
It depends, having certifications shows an employer that you actually have the knowledge needed to do the job. Having a degree shows you had the discipline to stick with a long study course and finish it. However in my eyes, an employer would be crazy to take someone with just their ccna and a 2 year college degree, over someone who has their ccnp and mcse or something like that. So if you work hard on the certs, you should be able to get by without a degree, or a lesser degree.
Hello, I passed the CCNA 9 years ago, it was 1 test. I've been out of the field for 3 years, which test is the best? Also, if I take the CCENT, will my certification read, CCNA or will it read CCENT?

take the ccna exam as the icnd2 is a killer
i know ccna is harder requires more effort but it will have less question from the icnd2 book and will be easier if you can prepare for it
best way do the ccna

how can i make sure i pass the cisco exam what would be your best advice
tefjam2009 1 year ago
@tefjam2009 Make sure to study AND practice on either a real router and switch or a simulated one. Also using a practice exam is helpful as well.
