Three things, first a bullfight on foot is different that one on horse, however this video shows it like a part of a normal bullfight on foot, this is wrong. Second, the death of the bull should come quickly if the matador does it well, in fact that is the idea, the video shows a bad kill. Third, the cutting through the spinal cord is used when a bad killing move was performed, in order to speed the death of the animal, you got that wrong. This is, as usual, misleading anti-bullfight propaganda.

Three things, first a bullfight on foot is different that one on horse, however this video shows it like a part of a normal bullfight on foot, this is wrong. Second, the death of the bull should come quickly if the matador does it well, in fact that is the idea, the video shows a bad kill. Third, the cutting through the spinal cord is used when a bad killing move was performed, in order to speed the death of the animal, you got that wrong. This is, as usual, misleading anti-bullfight propaganda.

I don't really understand people who say bullfighting, hunting, etc. are cruel.
A lot of them eat meat from animals who spent their entire life in a pen too small to stand up in being injected with steroids.
Yet they think it's 'cruel' to kill an animal that's encouraged to run free and be wild and die fighting?

The bull at least dies in battle, not mmaybe stunned and wakes up half skinned alive. Can you imagine the pain brought to these animals for no reason? Being stabbed several times in the back, immense loss of blood, then being stabbed through the lung fully and then baring the pain and confusion when blood pours into the lungs and you suffocate.
Humans in the 1780s-1940s were not hanged if it would cause excessive pain eg a weak jaw or something. A bull is stabbed several times, and that pain will be destructive.
