They probably send Miss India to Miss World because more people in the world care about Miss World. Americans care more about Miss Universe, probably because Donald Trump owns it and he's very partial to the Western contestants. Anyway, it's Miss Worlds that have gone on to be more successful in films.

Sorry mate your informaction is not correct.The Miss USA only send the winner to represent in at Miss Universe.

The Miss USA world was a diferent compaticion specificly for that!

None of the 4th rounners up go to anyhere expect the winner, and the last case if the winner cant go to Miss Universe the 1st rounner up replace her.

the female host's name is Dia Mirza who won miss india earth 2000 and also won miss asia pacific in 2000. this was also the same year priyanka chopra won miss world and lara dutta won miss universe. india won all three titles at an international level!!!

Why have they changed the pattern of announcements? Miss India - Universe is supposed to be the winner and so she should be called the last. World and Earth have always been 1st and 2nd runner ups. Does any one know why they have started calling Miss Uni earlier than Miss World ?

Last year they changed the format where the winner goes to Miss World and runner up goes to Miss universe.
