  • This is one heck of a beautiful tractor! Very nice job! That old Jimmy sounds GREAT!

  • Oh really that's very interesting to hear about the factory. Also with the engine you are most probably right but when we got the tractor the engine was orange so we took the decision to leave it in that colour fully aware that originally the colour would have been the light turquoise colour.

    :-)

  • A Chamberlain Super 70, built at what used to be Small Arms Ammunition Factory #5 in Welshpool, Western Australia. Perhaps one of the best Australian tractors.

  • @douro20

Sorry, that would be #6, not #5.

  • Yes i understand what you mean, the standard engine colour being a very faded green/ light blue. However when the detroit diesel was installed into the Chamberlain the engine block was converted to the colour of the rest of the tractor. :)

  • @HazzerP

Yep. I believe the engines were colored the same as they left the factory in the US.

  • the motor is the wrong color!

  • this is in the january 2010 edition of tractor magazine

  • Yes it is, we contacted the magazine and accepted our story. In the article it mensions replacing the old tyres and we are doing that in the next half an hour

  • Wow that looks awesome! Nothing like a Chamberlain!
