@horseproblems well if you start onother acount like say its called horseproblames australia 2 ? or something and you leave it with out adding video after video just no videos for ages like mabye a month the internet thinks that you are never going to add videos so it give you the option to add videos that are longer then you can just flood you acount with videos that are longer then 10 min so thats how you get longer vids up my acount is now on anlimited time I can make them as long as I want:)
@animalrights800 Day 7 on average. But before that, completely handle the foal, restrain it push it here and there, pick up l of its legs whilst some one restrains the Foal and be all over it like a rash. By Day 14, it should be leading, tying up, feet traimed and in my case, float trained. The Hooves of all Foals are incorrect when born and the predominant reason for crooked Legs is trimming, NOT STALLIONS. :( Regards
does this foal have a umbilical hernia? I know you said that it was a colt what age do you correct that problem because i have a foal im going to adopt that has one he is a dream some say it will correct itself others say get a vet to fix it whats your opinion?
@yustm3 Ground work equals respect. If he nis kicking and bucking on the ground hen is going to buck you under saddle. Take control by training now. Start with the 7 Games. Cheers
My foal Starstruck is very touchy around the back end and back and withers area and he kicks if i touch his legs.. I wanted to know if you had some advice.?
@GullicksonGal My DVD on Foals makes the Point that they should be finished inside the first 2 weeks of their life. End of all problems including feet and tying up. Again, not enough handling. Regards
I agree with you about the way people don't handle there foals early.. I just got a 6 month old smokey black and white colt that my dad bought me and he wasn't even people friendly. I now have a halter on him and can pet him all over. But he does not lead. Can you Help?Advice?
@prancer1995 leave a lead rope dragging on the ground for a week in safe facilities and when you are around. After a week, pick up the rope and he will know what you want. Build on that and off you go
Foals ae extremely sensitive around the head. It is essential to just get a Halter on them and alter Break them whee you can then work on the touchy heads at your leisure and with control later. To the lady re leading, now you need to teach the foal to lead. Can't handle that here. The lady who can't get the halter on, get thum and Baby in a stall, get hold of the foal, lean over it to stop it going up and just install the Halter come what may. I have a DVD on the subject
i can put a halter on my little colt whom is a week old but he won't lead properly even when i walk my tb mare next to him he will still rear up and try to get the halter of can u please help me
@shellosaurus He needs to be hauled around and taught to give to pressure. Once again, let him drag a rope for a while to lighten him up and to train himself
thanx for the vid! but im having trouble getting a halter on my foal i can rub it all over her body and she will even play with it but i cant get it on her nose and do it up help?
@moonie014w They are all like that around the nose. Get him in a stable, jammed in a corner. Lean over the foal to stop it rear and and just man handle the halter on. Then you can start training.
I absolutly agree with you on training them young. I dont understand how people get all the training and sacking out after they are 6 months, it takes much longer, and they dont learn it as well as a young horse. My foal was completely halter broke at 2 weeks. and she is the apple of my eye!
that is sad you have to have to end the video but I'm able to upload video's longer then 15 minuets now you just have to wait

I really wish my boss had seen this. He wouldn't train horses until they were 2 and it was such a mess. Love this:)
