  • its disheartening to see young people like yourselves brainwashed to this extent . I suggest you guys read some other books outside Qaran/Hadith/Bible, read for example Richard Dawkins or something in the other extreme.

What are yall's views on Sharia laws regarding women's rights and persecution ? Stoning people, cutting of hands and all that crazy stuff?? well, human rights in general?

Its sad, very sad too see people make judgement based on an old book. Really ???

  • It's sad to see people make judgement based on an old book or something written from long time ago? Then why do the Americans adhere to their constitution? I mean it was written a long time ago, so you know, freedom of speech and religion are just ridiculous notions correct? No, the Quran has valuable life-enhancing meaning to it. I don't agree with stoning people or cutting anyone for the ultimate punishment comes from Allah. It's disheartening to see that you haven't read the Quran yet.

  • @HijabiBengaliSisters The constitution is only 200 years old and has been and still is being changed to handle modern problems, unlike the Quran. Muslims actually don't want to change the Quran and leave it as close to the original as much as possible. That is the difference between the constitution and the Quran, and that's why the constitution is the more reliable document.

  • @deveshl How can old be wrong ??? What logic are you showing here. Wheel was invented years ago why we are still using that???

  • Ok I dont mind your opinions because that's your right to have an opinion, as is everybodys. I was just wondering what your opinions were on Muslim homosexuals

  • Homosexual rape used in times of war by the conquerors, which is what is referenced in scripture, is wrong. When the scripture was written the world was a very different place. Women were chattel. Men could beat their wives. Still do in some parts of the world. Slave ownership was permitted and the beating of your slaves was sanctioned in the holy books. Times have changed. Progressive people know that being gay is not wrong. I'm not here to convince the HPS of this truth. Love all.

  • @MrLuseyran lol mind controlling? As far as I know, everyone is in control of their own state of mind. We cannot enforce anything upon anybody for ultimately it's their own choice to either adhere or not to this message.

Meanwhile, why don't you go to the thesaurus and figure out how many synonyms there are for the word ignorant.

  • @HijabiBengaliSisters

Many gay people have killed themselves because of societies intolerance, don't make the case it's a choice, the sexual act is a choice, but the homosexuality is not. They are as turned off by the opposite sex as a straight person would be to the same sex.

  • Religion is almost entirely subject to parentage. Converts excepted.

If you were born to white European parents, there's a 99.9% chance you wouldn't be Muslim.

Christians who convert to Islam, is more of a variant sect of Abrahamic religion, so it's not as profound as most people think.

  • lol poor girl asking advice from two brainwashed cultists who have been indoctrinated from birth to not think for themselves but look to a stupid book to give them their opinions about life. Good luck with that one....

My answer to the girl would be, think for yourself, empower yourself, stop seeing yourself as weak, stop looking to other people to guide you....especially slaves of a retarded oppressive religion

  • @TheLusseyran I'm sorry, but if we were oppressed by this religion, we would have got out of this religion, you ignorant person.

  • You are both very cute and have nice personalities. It's nice to see people with some sanity and life in their eyes. In america times are crazy. This is a very good discussion on a touchy subject.

  • btw by 'it is wrong' i meant homosexuality. :$ <3

  • ahh i like the way you put your points across in this video sisters :') It is wrong but we shouldn't discriminate someone because of it, like you said Allah swt will give the final verdict of a person and their doings. :) <3

  • It's funny, that you still believe in these exact rules, you are not agreeing with... I mean, if one knows, that qu'ran and the bible are man-made, that is not a problem anymore, because we see, that the laws made there are of the mindsets of the 6th century BC, 100 AD or 625 AD and therefore have very limited "lawfulness". We have to decide not what religions tell us, but to decide, what reason and our heart tells us. I personally cannot condemn homosexuality, because it would be hateful.

  • @MardasMan The Quran isn't man made, the words in them were the direct words of God. Who do you think wrote it? Muhammad peace be upon him? No, he was illiterate. Rather the words were memorized by him and then his followers started to recite them with him and they wrote it down. The religion of Islam floursihed because of the Prophet, but never did he create the religion or the holy text himself. He's a prophet, not God.

  • @HijabiBengaliSisters

The qu'ran never goes beyond the intellectual horizon the 7th century arabians had. As wonders in the qu'ran are entirely own interpretations of very vague verses, and that Mohammeds illiteracy is entirely irrelevant in a time, where oral tradition was more important than written tradition and therefore is no argument to support that. Especially as we know, that the qu'ran you know is not the original one, but the version of caliph Uthman, which may very different from that

  • @MardasMan Own interpretations? You cannot sit with an arab-to-english dictionary and read the Quran. The arabic is 7th century prose in which case the more you try to translate, the more in depth meaning you loose. And you're correct, oral tradition was far more vital which is why the words of the Quran was "put into the Prophet's mouth" where he orally presented the words of Allah to his followers whom eventually wrote down the message.

  • @HijabiBengaliSisters

Only because i cannot read arabic doesn't mean you can deflect errors of the qu'ran into the "you just have to read the original arabic."-argument. The knowledge of the qu'ran is the same as the historic background would indicate. You would have to prove to me, that it is more than that. According to the qu'ranic "miracles" i have seen (and i have seen a lot about that), that's very poor stuff.

And the date of the canonization of the qu'ran is also neither clear nor known.

  • @MardasMan Anybody can read arabic, but even natural born arab speakers cannot understand the full context of the Quran. If you want to be 'proved to' then you sir, must seek the answer yourself by studying about the matter vigioursly at hand from sources that are reliable. The date of the canonization of the Quran may be unknown, but the fact that it happened to a Great man is a miracle in itself.

  • @HijabiBengaliSisters

I may not consider him a great man... Especially as many muslims don't see him as an idol, do they? I mean, he started war against his enemies without any other reason than spreading his own faith (nothing better than the crusaders), he slept with a 9-year old, mature or not, and executed jews, who opposed him in medina and later in this village, that is sadly very often a justification for antisemitism... you know, the speaking rocks about the jews to kill...

    That means,

  • @MardasMan

that i thought, you saw him only as a prophet and not as a man to follow his example or do you? (just because i don't think the same about moses or any other prophet or "son of god" that came after it, they killed, used violence, raped and all in the name of god and one of them, jesus, (but more his scribbling inventors ;) ) even founded the concept of hell without even having this in judaism.

  • @MardasMan The Quran being recited in Africa is the same one being recited in India. There is only One Quran, One message, and One God.

  • @HijabiBengaliSisters

That's correct, but it's not the original one. You just read the edited version of caliph Uthman, who destroyed all other qu'ranic versions and punched his own version, we don't know, if it's the original one or even if anytime there was an "original one", through. This is not my interpretation, but the common historical view on it, shared by almost all islamic scholars.

  • @MardasMan If the Quran never 'goes beyond the intellectual horizaon of the 7th century" then how does it touch upon topics and innovations made in the 20th century? Please find out the truth and actually read the Quran before asserting anything.

  • @HijabiBengaliSisters

It doesn't. And if you still think, that salty and fresh water don't mix or that evolution is not correct, that would be wrong. And if you think, the quran predicted, that the universe is expanding, then i ask, why did god prefer to make such vague verses to mean things, which are only said to be scientific, as we already have scientifically found out them? ...

  • @MardasMan

If there were actually scienctific truths in the quran, why did we need science to find it instead of just reading the quran? Why didn't Mohammed or his later followers say: "We live in a universe, that expands, and we have evolution and the big bang."? They didn't. Some scientific discoveries are even fought against by muslims, although it's scientifically proven.

  • Hi I was wondering if you could write down what you said about the hadith, I tried to rewind and hear it a couple of times, but could not follow ( sorry). I was not raised muslim, however I would not call myself a convert either, since this is the religion of my choice, not what my parents chose for me. Anyway this explains why I haven't heard this hadith before, since I am still learning as I go along. Thanks!

  • @msmunguia09 Hey, we all have our opinions. Religiously it's wrong, but at the end of the day, who are we to dictate other people's lives? No hate whatsoever.

  • @HijabiBengaliSisters now that's not wise...

you said who are we to dictate pther people's lives...

let me answer it for you..

(You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah . If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.) 3:110

you are a muslim you should be a member in that (BEST NATION).

  • @livingonmyon At then end of the Day all we could do is Advise, and discourage; Allah will give the final verdict of that person and their doings.

  • @HijabiBengaliSisters ... and that is the weakest Iman -to change falseness with your heart- but you negate that in your video... :S

  • @livingonmyon I'm sorry you couldn't see the underlining message, Inshallah Allah will see our efforts. Our Apologies.

  • @HijabiBengaliSisters don't apologies.

    I like your videos :).

    Amen.

  • @livingonmyon Thank youuuuuuu :)

  • @msmunguia09 LOL you obviously didn't watch the video if you're gonna attack us like that.

  • Comment removed

  • @msmunguia09 WELL OBVIOUSLY WHEN SOMEONE WRITES LIKE THIS , in your head you're thinking..wow are they pissed? But I just hope you watched the rest of the video. Again, everyone has their own opinion. If there are proponents of a certain issue, than there are just as much people that are opposed to it. This is a nuetral video though, but thanks for voicing in your opinion!

  • Comment removed

  • @msmunguia09

well the difference between a comment and an attack is when the comment is rude, contains effin and blindin and outrightly dismisses what the video says, i.e "so f*uck that" so yes u r attacking them...if u dont have the maturity or competence to reply without being so rude then like they always say- click the x butttonn!

  • @abbbcb Thank youuu so much <3 Haha we didn't even notice that eff word haha

  • I have the same opinion - I'm against the concept of homosexuality but never would I degrade someone just because of their sexuality. At the end of the day, they're human as well and no one should be discriminated just because they're different than you.
