I like the Billy Hatcher-ish style. Never could of guessed that From Software of all developers, was behind it. They probably ditched this for another Armored Core entry, because the former would be less likely to make the moolah. And we all know what moolah does to people, folks.

From what I had heard, Gold Star Mountain was made by a 3rd party developer that made early RPG games for the GameCube.

Sadly they never released this one because of the lack of GameCube support.

It was also meant to be like a Pokemon monster collecting game.

I remember reading about this in a magazine back in 2002, saying that this would be in contrast to the darker Rune (Lost Kingdoms). Whatever happened to this game I wonder? Just canceled?
