  • Sexy guitar riff starts at 1:34

  • Saw them at St Marys leagues club many times in the eighties! Great band.......

  • Legendary, PERIOD! R.I.P Steve (Mi-Sex FOREVER) !!!

  • Yes a great band from the 80's ......... Mi-Sex are playing in Sydney on saturday 26/11, Just got my tickets today ! Woo Who.

  • choice bro

  • Split Enz??..No way!!..This song is a bit more 'poppy' than most of their songs, not my favourite...tho,musically..still excellent...Murray and Kevin were brilliant songwriters...Yes,they should have gone a lot further, but circumstances must not have been in their favour at the time..Great Band...

  • they were briliant, and probably died due to company rules... Split Enz were a load of shit, and still are... Kiwi's don't like people claiming their bands, they just can't be bothered funding them!

  • @Amberol yes they were awesome and i had the absolute blessing to sit down and have coffee just the other day with the Bass-player.

  • Fantastic band my Fav from the 80s by a mile.

  • I wouldn't compare them to Split Enz at all mate. Split Enz were more a progressive Novelty Act whereas Misex were a modern pop-rock band who were very current at the time. They are more in league with Dragon and Hello Sailor. THey definitely should have been more successful, but like most groups at the time, all they could do was go to Australia to further their careers. Even New Zealands greatest pop group, Split Enz, were virtually unknown out of Australasia.

    PS Crowded House dont count

  • Although I remember them as a well-respected and liked band, they strike me here as a bit 'Split Enz'-derivative in their image... especially the bass-player... but good music...

  • Amazing band amazing people.

  • Hey, @uhzwk - the above clip has the original members including Steve Gilpin. The Concert on 24 April 2011 had Steve Balbi on lead vocals. Also Kevin Stanton was not there either due to health problems. Don Marin, Paul Dunningham and Murray Burns were there.

  • gotta love it....

  • Looking forward to the concert on 24 April 2011. Next to Fed. Square Melb. 2pm-10pm. tickets only $30. See u there!!

  • @uhzwk ooohh.. was it the original line up, minus Steve??
