depends, does it use an ejected shell to case the shot or is it free firing? Is the barrel rifled? How heavy is it? What material is it made of? Does it bend when pressure is put on it? but in a simple answer then yes. if made right. all thought the speed would need to be less because of the pointed end, it could tear through skin if it isn't lessened a bit.

it most certainly is not, the apex does increase accuracy because it forces the ball to spin in the direction you want, and you can force it to have backspin which increases the distance the ball can fly straight.

it would have no more accuracy then any other gun with a 14 inch barrel, after 14 inches the only thing that could increase the accuracy would be an Apex barrel.

so for instance if you use a 24 inch barrel and a 14 inch barrel the accuracy would not be better. its not a bullet, its a paintball. This would be a replica gun not a sniper because sadly for paintball you cannot have snipers, no matter what......even though that would be awesome....

No matter how long the barrel is, the paintballs won't travel far enough to be considered a "sniper".

Paintballs simply can't travel far enough without increasing the FPS far above 300, which is banned on ALL fields. Plus, the slightest amount of wind will blow it off course.

It's a cool looking kit, but I'll get the same exact results by putting a 20 inch barrel on a Tippman 98 custom, if not better. (all that kit will weigh it down and make it near impossible to aim with unless prone)

Your channel says you live in the united states. 300 FPS is the legal cap; shooting higher than that is not only illegal but also causes damage to the gun.

And even if you really don't live in the US, almost all countries in Europe and Asia have the exact same law.

If you're shooting higher than 300 FPS, you could severely injure someone else and also damage the gun itself; don't do it.

@pilotdave1000 aiming would be similar to any scoped rifle, you'll need to take into account wind and distance, take slow deep breaths, then slowly squeeze the trigger between breaths. Of course, the ball is just going to fly out and loose accuracy after about 75 yards, because it's more like a very light musket ball and not a rifle round, but I'm assuming you'd know that.

@evanlikestoparty The longer barrel actually gives the gas more time to expand and accelerates the ball more. It also gives more time to direct the ball making it more accurate. Your question was the equivalent to "Why does the Barrett .50 cal. have such a long barrel? Doesn't that slow down the bullet and give you less range?" The answer, of course, is no. Learn something new every day. :)

And you CAN'T maintain such preasure with a paintball projectile due to its shape, sorry.
