that is super cute i wish my shibainu Dakota will do that. that would be super funny super cute and super cool. really cute shibainu yoshi is a really cute name for a shibainu
@wackerthecracker We only take him in the car if he needs to go somewhere like to the vet. We've driven him to other places a couple times like the park. It's hard to do it alone because he will run around and could distract or get in the way of the driver.
@StrangeX1 lol I understand about distractions driving as a 30 year professional driver,
may I suggest a harness and a leash to control him in the car with a lot of positive praise to reinforce the good things to come "park" repetition is the key, he can learn a ride can be OK if theres a positive in it for him.
P.S. it would be my pleasure to help you in any way I can with this small problem
@wackerthecracker Thanks so much! I bet that will help a lot. Sadly I can't do it myself because I'm in college right now, so my dog is living with my parents instead of with me. I'll pass on the word to them and hopefully we can get it all worked out.
@StrangeX1 makes me happy to help :) one thing to keep in mind is one negative ride to the vet can set him back a few steps in the learning process, a trip to the park after the vet would help the positive thinking.
with a little time and patients the "car fear" will be a thing of the past .
I would like to stay in contact with you to see how things are coming along with him and maybe see some vid's of the boy too, I'll ad you as a friend and subscribe to your channel :) plz do same:)
@wackerthecracker Very true! Poor guy... last time I took him to the vet he was so scared he was shaking, and when a delivery guy brought a big box in... poor Yoshi peed himself. =(
I do have a couple of videos of him on my channel.
@StrangeX1 awh poor guy indeed, sounds like he needs a little more exposer to the element's of life,
like a child they need to be introduced to everything in "there" world.
natures way is to be scared of the unknown to any animal, be clam and collective and show him the trash truck , mail-box man, and or all the other things hes not familiar with.
@StrangeX1 you got the right idea , exposer with confidants . you're feels of nervousness or insecurity of his actions transfers straight into him and then he reacts
to you're vibes :P
in my years of training dogs I have learned that owners can be a good part of the problem, don't take me wrong I'm here to help as long as you're not another damn movie star ! LOL been there more that once ! and it's was always easier to train there dog !
Thanks MVP. It was made as a joke for Christmas - I think I shot and edited the whole thing within 10 minutes and it shows. But we got a laugh out of it and I'm glad you did too!

@wackerthecracker Yeah when he was a puppy I brought him almost everywhere with me, but he's still a scared-y cat. I'll keep trying!
