well Jeff i do like the idea of your knife i think its a great idea but the double edge thing might not work out though because from the looks of it the blade wont fit entirely into the handle and it could cut someone if unnoticed but over all its a great knife design and i like it
I like it.. not sure how I would carry it.. that rear spike might get me if i hang it from a neck lanyard or if i wear it on my belt... but as a cutter, I might like to keep it in my toolbox or range bag. If that rear spike was a small flathead screwdriver head or a punch tool the size of the Glock Armory Tool, then that would definitely be my main range bag knife. Overall, its a great knife design. I like the look and lines of it. Very sleek!

nice,and fairly unique,but i think a small knob would better serve you considering it would probably poke you every time you sat or bent over regardless of the carry scabbard,IWB or OWB it also eliminates any palm push capabilities.as for sexy i don't know if flashing your blade around will impress the girls.but free advice is worth what you pay for it.but cool knife all in all[no charge for the advice BTW]

Awesome design, Jeff. The tail end was a cool ass idea, but I had a thought... It might look a little more unique if you made the blade longer and used a different profile. I'm not bashin the design or anything, cuz it's awesome as fuck, but it kinda looks like a regular blade on a wicked lookin handle.
Gavkoo is amazing. He is so generous. He sent us a tripod. He sent a lil folder for my wife when I bought one of his small neck knives awhile back. I'm glad you finally mentioned him. Nice design. Like the finger choils. And non lethal option
not bad jeff but I would sugest a slight thumb ramp where the handle meets the blade if the top swedge is sharpened as well, to help prevent some slipping and cutting your thumb open

I would only half sharpen that swedge, Jeff. Even if there was some crazy gimping on the back of that thing, i foresee cutting your thumb open on it in a saber grip. The belly on that thing gives it a lot of versatility, and i like that. I can see a lot of uses for this blade. I would honestly use it as a hunting blade. Yes it can be used defensively, but that blade shape screams cutting up some deer to me.
To be honest, I don't think that it would be too comfortable with your thumb. When I imagine myself holding it, it just doesn't work out, especially since the swedge is sharpened.
out lining the blade with black would make it look better. The color needs to be held by black or it doesn't pop as much. just a tip jeff. :) i do concept art so i might be able to draw something up for you if you want if i find the time that is.
BTW, i think this is a pretty good design. Looks good, seems like it'd be comfortable. I think having the back point sharp like that would be a problem though, because people would end up poking themselves. I don't know how, but people do some weird stuff haha.
I've made it a hobby to read the tags in these videos. Even if it's a video about something I'm not interested in, i still click it to read the tags. Because quite frankly, they're funny as hell.
I think it's very cool but you may have to be careful with that skull crusher or what ever poking in to you or stabbing your hand when pulling the knife out

Anywayz, great looking knife. The only downside, is that it seems too thin nearing the blade above 1st finger choil (<how do write it correctly?), looks like it will be it's weakness, you should definitely widen it on top :)

Conserning the profile, it does look a bit like a kitchen knife. A rounded butt, graduated scale/blade mating and semi chisel grind would actually make it quite fitting for cutting vegetables and fish. With the height of that point you could part tuna steaks with a simple push.
All of that said, I don't know much about defensive knives, I know two edges is preferable and that's about it.
@cutlerylover Sorry to say, but I did find one that's fairly similar. However, the second finger placement is different so way to go. Always cool to see what something should look like in someone else's pov!

@cutlerylover I understood, but it seems so sharp, to the point (hehe, POINT) that it will penetrate very easily and could actually deliver a fatal strike if you hit too hard.
