The doors do come off when, in an accident, the car rolls over. They don't come off in a pretty ejectable seat way. They just dismount from the roof so you can push them apart :)
People should understand that it isn't impossible. However, I'm skeptical because of the short distance he drove, the weight of this car, and the speed he was going. I estimate 130 mph. plus, the doors on an sls come off if the vehicle is upside down...
You can add to your clip -- In the full comercial when looking down the tunnel before the car gets to the ramp ;; no lights are missing on the far side wall where he needs to come down ; but when he is coming down now the lights are gone.. Magic photoshop! Any real action that is real the camera would be high speed and they would draw it out in slow motion to make you OO and AHH. Not 3 seconds in real time for the viewer to almost guess ! Molex50 made the same observation too --- HMMMMMM..
@plastikseraph...even if this was fake, you saying that mercedes 'under-delivers' is pure nonsense. Their Amg models are nothing but, over-achievers. This tunnel video just portrays thoughts of extreme and on-the-edge. Which in return, the Sls Amg is exactly that.
